That can happen because it is an indicator and it has no knowledge of the current trades.

Same story for fi. "max add trades per swing".
The indicator will signal EAX to add a trade but if EAX prevents that by fi. news or spread filter the indicator will still count it as being added.

I am testing the 1.01 now and i think it will eliminate some of the losses.
Release in a couple of hours (before Asia) and the best way to test it is to run it on an second terminal and run 1.00 and 1.01 side by side.

It is long haul so it doesn't really make sense to restart or start now.
Again, it has no knowledge of running trade so if you ever have to restart close all open trades first an reset EAX pins.

When you start fresh coming weekend or so.

1) load EAX on a chart and use the BDMSIMPLEEAX preset file.
2) load BDMsimpletraderv1.00 on the same chart.
3) now stay away from this chart the rest of the week.

I completely forgot that the BDM scalp dashboard has a perfectly good trades visualizer with a lot of settings.
It is called "#1 Trade Levels (Black)" and you can find it here http://www.forexfactory.com/showthread.php?t=114792

I am not a 100% sure yet but the more testers the merrier.

Leave Debug to true and only change the runtime input param.

Pin1 - Entry signal will stay on for two minutes
Pin2 - Add to trade signal on for two minutes
Pin3 - Exit signal also two minutes

Debug pins NOT USED IN TRADING
(Abuse of pins, i hope Aeseme will forgive me )

Pin4 - Max add entries per swing reached
Pin5 - Entry signal set but additional conditions not yet met
Pin6 - Indicator running indicator

I see that channels 4, 5 and 6 are not highlighted in the image of post 2489. I suppose, therefore, that these three channels can be used for another setup of AEX dashboard in the same terminal. It is correct?

If Debug is false 4,5 and 6 are available but why would you ever run two strategies on 1 EAX.
Same magic number ? good way to kill both strategies not to mention get an open/close deadlock.

I was thinking about running more than one EAX dashboard in the same terminal (Mt4 platform), to be able to test different strategies at the same time. Opening a new MT4 platform is costly. You have to load a lot of bars, etc. After my experience, its is feasible to work with several dashboards on the same Mt4 platform, at least if you don't use the same "channels" with different pins (different signals) in both dashboards (it is possible to share the same pins on the same "channels" on different dashboards). Of course, I use a different magic number for each dashboard.
This was the reason of my question, to know if the "channels" 4, 5 and 6 are "occupied" with signals or not.

Some basic pinning.

Pin 1 is the main start trading pin.
It will be set when a directional trade is started and it will disappear after two minutes.
EAX "sit on hands" is set to three minutes so the entry will not be taken twice.

Pin 2 is the add to trade pin and when a trade needs to be added to an already initialized trade (Pin 1) it will be set for a period of two minutes.

Pin 3 is the exit pin and will be set for two minutes on a directional change to exit the trade.

At the same time Pin 3 is set to exit the trade the debug Pin 5 will be set to show that there is a new trade direction detected.
In v1.00 a directional change on Pin 3 would exit the current trade and start a new one in the signal direction but because in v1.01 the entry conditions are stricter the directional signal is there (debug Pin 5) but the trade is not yet initialized (Pin 1) because not all entry conditions are met.

Debug Pin 5 will be either cancelled on again a directional change without entering a trade or switch to Pin 1 if conditions to enter are met.
It can happen that Pin 5 never signals if the conditions for entry are already there on an exit and in this case you will see Pin 3 (exit for two minutes) directly switch to Pin 1 (entry).

Pin 6 a well, just a happy little pin running around.

Looks like i posted the wrong 1.01

Hold on.

A F* MT4, the MQL editor points to one MT4 instance but the executables are written to an other MT4....
