Weldone, the only reservation I have for this trade is the 2 MA's, they are not position well. The 24 (blue) is suppose to be above 72 (red) for buy. This will take care of H1 that we are not watching again for direction.

May I know what made you take the trade, i.e., criteria in entering the trade?

1. 5ema trigger - I did not wait for the close of the trigger candle because of the momentum that break the TL.
2. Price below the 2 MA's & DPP.
3. DMI - ok.
4. TrendMirror - ok.
5. MACD - ok.
6. Strength meter - weaker EUR.
7. 10ema dashboard - ok.
8. Ichimoku - ok.

Hi honeytob,


Thank you for your observation and comment. ADX don't necessary need to be above 20 level, all ADX need to do is to be in between DMI - & DMI + , only ADXr need to be above 20 level. In that trade all I did is that I add the power of PA to that trade, in forex once you have the knowledge of PA, you can even trade without them.

What I observed in this system is if there's momentum, this supersedes an indicator. In this case, although ADXr is below 20, the trade is still good.

As I said in post 1, this system is a trend following system, as you know trend is a friend to momentum. And sometimes ADXr is a bit slow in its respond, and that is why I use 20 level instead of 25 level, so please add PA to your decision making when it come to taking up a setup.

Please also note that when ADXr is rising up below 20 level, it can also give a good signal.
