On April 25th 2011, a forex factory poster named Eric started a thread called Trading Made Simple.

The rules were simple, and powerful.

Unfortunately, he passed away.

Since then his thread has been all over the place. I am starting this journal to bring TMS back to it's original position.

So here are the rules.

1. If you think this is Synergy by Dean Malone, your post and chart will be deleted and you will be banned.

2. If you do not follow the rules as spelled out by Big E, your post and chart will be deleted and you will be banned.

That's pretty much it.

If you are a newbie and want to learn TMS by eelfranz, welcome.

If you are sick of the signal to noise ratio at the other thread and want to see proper original live charts and trading blotters you are welcome.

If you are a veteran trader and want to trade Big E style, but have questions, you are welcome.

You can start by downloading this pdf and zip file.

I will not contribute any ideas or opinions that did not come from eelfranz other than some money management.

I'm in. And my deepest respects to BIG E. I never followed the system and know nothing about it but I do know he was a kind and giving soul.

Thanks Chris, Big E fought a constant fight with people altering the rules and using additional indicators as trade triggers. I should have done this quite some time ago.

Big E TMS traders haven't had a thread for a long time.

Well with everything going on with me lately, I'm not positive I'll be able to move along with it. But I have downloaded the BigE Charts and PDF and I will read myself up to speed as I can.

Best wishes on keeping a clear path going here. Do not be afraid to implement the steps I have for the corner. It seems drastic and as you know, under this new FF structure requires us to "buddy up" a bit more. But it goes a long way to keeping the thread clean and on a positive focused track. With that thought in mind, I won't clutter up the thread with posts like this. If/when I do post, it will be system related.

To go back further in your charts... go to a higher timeframe... like Daily or weekly. Mine goes back over 10 years... and remember this method works on all timeframes.....

The key to understanding is studying old charts to build your confidence in the TDI Crossover/entries... burn it in your mind.

Pay attention to previous swings (# of candles) and your current support and resistance levels.

After a while your eye/brain knows what to look for and it becomes quite natural and fast...

Lower timeframes require constant monitoring (5/15/30/1hr)... otherwise you may get sacked and lose your pips..

That's why I prefer to trade the 4 hr charts and above and I don't generally have to monitor the trade... makes me pips while I sleep... News doesn't normally effect the higher timeframes either...

Why did I really start this thread? Well, see for yourself. Big E made his last post on Oct 24, 2011. He was fighting with people trying to tweak stuff as late as Sept 27th of that month. So he was fighting with people like who are on the old thread all the way up to less than ten days before his final post. See for yourself.

I am posting just in case anyone thinks I am doing this as a stunt.

Sweet! This is what we need. I need you to post charts on the candle where you take the trade if you can. Also tell readers where your stop loss is.

Also, did you take this trade at the right time of day?

If not, why not?

All of this information is helpful. I have found that there are a lot of newbies around here, and they have to be spoon fed for awhile, so let's not confuse them in any way.
