Disliked{quote} Thanks, I saw the DMI on H1 but there was the TL break - so you don't use that bit?Ignored

Disliked{quote} Yes, I use the TL break, but the H1 (DMI) supersede any breakout/breakdown at the TL. Happy trading, Yomi.Ignored
Disliked{quote} Ok, got it. Talking about TL, a quote from #293: ============ "Trading Ideas for Trendline: I will determine how I enter trade with trendline based on momentum. i.) If I feel we have great momentum I will enter on break of the trendline. ii.) If low momentum, I will enter on close. {?} iii.) If it's a trade I just don't like I'll wait for a pullback and then see if it has gained momentum. Above all, watch-out for where 5ema appear on the candle that break the trendline, that is where the edge is." ============ Would you mind explaining point...Ignored

Disliked{quote} Thanks Yomi, I think I now see what you meant in that post - entering either direct when crossing the TL or at the close of the candle that crosses (i & ii); The example you just posted however seems to be a 3rd option - waiting one more candle.Ignored

Disliked{quote} Type 1: I will enter at the candle that break the TL. Type 2: I will enter at the close of that candle that break the TL (that is the next candle after the close). Type 3: I will wait for the candle to close above/below the TL and also await for it to do some retracement/pullback, and then get/see a trigger toward the main/original trend and enter. NB: the example I gave in post 746 is type 2. Hope this helps, Yomi. {quote} This is Type 3: {image}Ignored

So, I prefer only M15 TF, and I strongly recommend M15 TF, but it will work on any TF. GBPUSD (M15) +15pips. Trade Idea: 1. Price below the 2 MA's - note the position of the MA's, very important. 2. Price break the TL. 3. DMI - note how the ADX break ADXr up, inside the DMI's. 4. TrendMirror - ok. 5. MACD - ok. 6. Strength meter - weaker GBP. 7. 10ema dashboard - ok. 8. Ichimoku - ok.
