Guys have you tried to change the server from the bottom right on the mt4. I have about 10 on the list.
This is misleading - watch out. The ones u can choose are the only the access points, nevertheless u r always trading via a fixed server connected to your account.

I was assuming if the connection speed is faster then its likely to respond better and perhaps help. But yeah! It coukd be the main server. I will watch out on lower timeframes for these gaps.One thing i have noticed though is that sometimes when i start mt4 it doesnt seem to show the candles from last time i was using it. It sort of shows a gap. After restarting it again it fixes up. Have you had that issue too?

How have things been with Activetrades the last few weeks, are the servers still unreliable?

I am deciding whether to open with them or maybe Darwinex, with the commission Darwinex's spreads are wider and the negative swap rates on EG, EU and GU are twice as high as Activetrades charge.
No issues on their Acitvtrades-5 nowadays. Got Darwinex Live Account as well. Their advantage starts to play out once the rebate on their commission is reducing the trading costs. Only a question of volume ...

Good point. Do you use an IB (I use cashbackforex) or do they have their own rebate scheme?
Darwinex do not appear to have a live chat option on their website, how do you find the response time for their email support?
I was sent an email with new logins and that the servers have be upgraded etc. I wonder if its for the good.......
Let me know how you get on with the new servers.

The main reason I took my funds out of Pepperstone is because of the frequent platform freezes which got worse after Server upgrades.

I use IB for another commission broker, but not for Darwinex - they have their own rebate system. It is described on their site (with calculator on top).

Their response time is above average - sometimes only minutes. Once u have an account, u have access to an up-to-date communication system via chat/mail. Based on my experiences it is even the most attractive i have encountered to be honest.

Could u name the corresponding server you have got the mail for? Is it Activtrades-4?

They set up a new account for me and asked me to trannsfer funds to the new account on Activtrades-3 server. Apparently, the Activtrades-3 server is better suited to the spread betting accounts, hence the move. Unless, they have noticed my wins and doing something fishy.......

What do you mean by this?
you all seem surprised about something that is well known for years.
just that in recent times it all seems very embittered.

N.B.: Look @ your entrypoints and then on the market... and compare this with other brokers realtime
