Anyone have experience with Activtrades?

After the demise of Alpari UK. I'm looking for a reliable and honest broker to spread bet with. Activtrades seems to fit the bill pretty well and looks like a good prospect.


Does anyone have any experience with them?

Hi there Martin, I was chasing the same information. In the meantime I have opened an account with them, so far it looks exactly as it was with Alpari Uk. I hope the guys from FCA and Fscs are serious enough to return my funds deposited in Alpari if things go wrong with the special administrators, and so we could still "believe" there is no more risk involved than the one we are assuming trading.

I've opened a live account with them to test. All good so far.

I can compare 2 brokers I've tried this month:
I first tried ETXcapital and it was terrible. Support didn't respond to my email to increase leverage, trade execution on their 1x MT4 server was terrible (invalid price, invalid price, invalid price - on both trying to open a trade and close a trade.) Very basic website back end, was not impressed. I don't recommend ETX Capital.

I then tried Activtrades, (because of its negative account balance protection policy). Trade execuation is great (open and close without issue) (they have multiple servers), very fast 26 millisecond server response time for me, large selection of currency pairs to trade (more than Alpari ever offered), 1:400 leverage on the account immediately, 30% margin stop out, very well developed website back end, (tip! the webinar archive for live clients is a gold mine if you want to take trading seriously as a business). So far, I would recommend Activtrades for a live account. I'm happy with what I've seen up to this point (and I am picky).

The only thing I will say, if you're a swing trader, their servers are GMT+1. So theres an extra Sunday candle generated and daily candles close at 23:00 instead of 22:00. This threw me at first as Alpari's servers were GMT+2 (daily candles closed at 10pm). But its not a show stopper. Everything else about them was what I was looking for.

Me trading with Mtrading. Thy use MT4. but i want to use MT5 terminal. i also like active traders thy have MT5 terminal too. any suggest for active traders. how abt this brokers.
