Price doesn't move in straight line. So 1.3640 is still possible. If I'm correct he didn't say when it will reach it.

Yes (obviously)...but there has to be a plan to trade it, right? We can't just let it drift against us unchecked

The plan will depend on what trader you assume or choose to be (scalp, day, swing, etc) and I do not think he wanted to touch on that part as it is a personal choice.

When it went North as he said it would he said it will open opportunities for a swing trader to sell at around that 1.40060 and it did visit that area 4 times. So one had an opportunity to Sell and Buy the swings. It might turn to be a similar case right now (Buy and Sell and manage your entry and exit). I am not saying he is right. I'm interested to see where it will end. Also I don't think he expects to be 100% right all the time. If he is wrong then there is some room for improvement that will keep him more interested at cracking the code or whatever you want to call it. We are all here to improve as the market evolves - professional thieves are always ahead of cops.

Let me not say too much as he can stand for himself.

Edited: The chart above is what he has shown us before as he described the banana market. Just look at where it started at the beginning of the week. That picture also look similar to intra-day (on days where price is moved back to near the open of the day as some kind of restart or reset). There is some Math in it (I have sat down and worked on it).

Well said, Pumi. Knowing how to trade around the math is as important as knowing the math. Knowing the math requires the understanding of the math. Once one determines/finds the math, the next step is to devise a plan that suits/caters to one's trading style/personality. TP/SL/Basket trades, scalp, swing, trend trades, counter trend trade, pullback trades & etc, you name it.

I've been following the new thread and came across this post. It got me thinking. Levels, math, FA, TA, etc mean nothing if you don't have a plan. I took a few minutes to review my GA plan from March 9, the day I posted my GA levels on the Real vs Algo thread, in response to a challenge to post my levels (I posted my plan, because levels without the context of a plan mean nothing). I have continued to trade the GA plan since that March 9 posting. I have executed my plan from that date, with only minor changes to the plan, to and from the levels I posted. So, a conversation about method is meaningless without proper planning and unflinching execution. Understand the market, understand price, and understand trading. The key to trading is you. You are the edge.

The currency markets are designed to take your money - its whole purpose is to get you to open a trade - that's why its fractal.
If the market remained flat - why would you trade? If you start looking at the markets as a trap to get you involved, you can start to
exploit this to make money.

Yep. They want me to give them setups and bots for results like this one, which kinda fit their trading style and understanding... plus a good pdf file with detailed instructions. I have never fully understood the time reference in day trading, because the whole concept of 'timeframes' seems to undermine the whole concept of the use of time in trading. So the price is the price no matter what timeframe you look at, different timeframes can and often do give you differing opinions on the price in relation to support/resistance, indicators etc of that timeframe. Furthermore, M1 has to lead everything, right up to Monthly. Of course price structure will mean that 'trading with the long term trend' might increase your probability but in truth, if M1 has turned, M5 has turned etc etc, then your D1 is so way behind the curve that you are going to have string of losses trading with 'the long term trend'.

I get the fact the current price is 'Now' and that it is pretty independent of what has gone before it, but as yet - I have been unable to use that to my advantage.

Time is extremely must have keep an eye in trading, especially on lower TFs! I have my main PC off already, but I'll post a screenshot tomorrow to show examples. But the idea is that: you are trading uptrend on 1m TF. Where is best possibility to enter the trade? At the start of every hour for example, or at the end?
The answer is: at the start. Because at the end of the hour there can be reversal or it will be the top. 1m tf is just 1h tf but with 60 pieces inside. And if it will be green candle on 1h TF then open will be lower than the close. The same for closing the positions. If time is up and nothing happened/reversed - it is better to quit.

If the current price is NOW, how can we take advantage of this?.
I suggest you need to answer this question first.

What is stronger, Passive limit orders or Aggressive Market orders?.

Two well known members on FF called DonPato and Michael (Bionic’s thread) believe Passive limit orders are stronger (If I am mistaken, I am happy to be corrected). I believe my evidence gathered over a few years which shows Passive limit orders are actually weaker.

Whats my point and why does it matter?

If we have a theory that Passive limit orders are weaker, we believe that to make good profits, we need the order book to be imbalanced with a finite zero for a brief moment in time.

That time is your “NOW” / take a Red pill.

The Red pill is immediate action as the imbalance has occurred on the order book and either Zero buy or sell orders has occurred.

The Blue pill is for traders who believe passive limit orders are stronger and believe those orders control the price at all times.

I only take the Red pill and therefore don’t believe in Stop Runs.
