Let us see what happens tomorrow with our forward tests. BTW, my results during the last week have been similar to yours (53,11 euros of closed profit; not very different from yours: 59,52 euros). The pairs you traded were not all the same as mine (yours: 2 EurAud; 1 EurNzd; 1 GbpNzd; mine: 2 GbpNzd; 1 EurAud; 1 ChfJpy; 1 NzdChf). Friday night I had only one trade open and decided to close it manually just in profit. Danapster account did much better! But best of all was the performance of Catalinīs BQR reverse strategy during last week, benefitting of the low volatility.

IMO, you should study different strategies published in this thread and begin some forward tests. This will teach you a lot. It would be wise to make some further reading first.

i have read all posts. and i have setup everything. someone used DMWranges and it worked well for him. i believe it will work well for me too

The reverse strategies are now quite easy to implement with EAX Dashboard. Not very long away, Denya commented that the EAXDash did not offer good conditions to trade on pullbacks (see post 1238 of this thread). But nowadays we have already different ways to trade retracements. There are, at least, five build-in filters or indicators of EAXDashboard which allow to trade in reversal mode:
- RS (Relative/Recent strength)
- BQR (Base/Quote ratio)
- GAP
- CCI (Commodity Channel Index)
- RSI (Relative Strenght Index)
+ at least, three pins with the reverse trading feature: EAXcsDash (not available at this moment), MADdash and BidRatio Pins
About pins, in changelog of DBMASMEAX007a3.update12 (2016.10.23) we can read:
"Updated releases of MADdash and BidRatio PINS with reverse option added"
EAX offers also the possibility of reversing Candles for direction matching ("Candles direction").
I will write more posts about the subject in the future.

the pin of post 2692 may expire, but if we use the dwmranges pin of post 3768 with your settings we should be ok ?

EDIT: tried to load the dwmranges pin of post 3768 and it removes itself from the chart when you try and load it. this is very frustrating, to get so close to a profitable configuration and be foiled like this.

hopefully HP can update the pin

Warning, the original "bugged" dwmranges that we use, is drastically different from the 1.01 fixed version.

The original one, will open a buy when the price crosses the upper daily range boundary and then goes below the line. The buy can be really short lived because the stop loss routine (closure pin), will trigger a close during trade profitable period. It's supposed to be a SL but it will actually act as a TP.
The fixed version, will open a _sell_ when the prices crosses the upper daily range and then goes below the line.
I have the feeling that the original version will also open a buy if the prices deeps down the lower daily boundary but not really sure yet.
In any way, the original one works as a trend continuation strategy, the fixed one trades on a counter trend, and try to play the bounce of the boundary.

So depending on the one you use, you get a very different trading strategy.

But if you use myfxbook analytics, you'll see that long trades give the best performance. Sells shorts are more on a fifty fifty winrate.

well cdash is renewed ,madash also is renewed Post 402 and Post 1,509 .in fact even if eax pin tool for conect cdash with eax dont work maybe you can replicate only with EAX same signals yu get from cdash just using EAX filters,also madash have his own pin conection from Aeseme just download from first page.yes need some work and understanding of course

Husky, I tested the sets csDash (H1), (M30) for using scalping(+MPTM). EAX does not allow this below Day. The best results were at the finish line with your original settings with BRDash+EAX_APRangesv 1.02 and with EAX_DWMRangesv 1.02 from HP.
But there is some positive news - 8 terminals are free.

as i knew HP stuff will expire i did some tests with MAdash + DBMulti pin from Aeseme before holidays and really got some decent results in all tests,but still need some tweaks.the only problem i see is patience,a lot of patience to see some results after some time.

Yes, exactly why I never use HP stuff. I said in past that he expires everything and mucks up any long term testing. He is never up front about the expiration of all of his stuff. He puts up stink when other developers stop development of their projects and pull modules that he is interested in. He just as bad and using everyone as guinea pig for his own study. Happy that he helps explore ideas, but never any code to rely on.

That being said, I should not complain since I am terrible coder and would not have anything to even test if not for generosity of many here.

Overjoyed that Aeseme shares his wonderful product and while i have not figured out any workable strategy, happy to give back with testing functionality of dash and modules for bugs and suggesting improvements.

HP, sorry you ended up in commercial land and cannot respond here, but assume you still read. While my post might not have been polished and was off the cuff, I wanted to followup just to be clear. I have no problem whatsoever with you expiring you code for whatever reason. My sole issue here is the way you do it. Everyone has to guess if and most likely when the code will expire. This burns the people doing long term strategy testing.

I have not complained about anyone else who expires their code, like csDash. honestknave is upfront when he posts a new version as to when it expires.

BrainTheBoss (Juan) is also very up front with his licensing model....the tools are free for FF users to use on a demo account if you contact him and provide him with some basic information so he can generate a key.

If and when Metatrader pulls support for MT4 and forces everyone over to MT5, most likely all of your compiled code will stop working anyway.

One last note. There are usually multiple versions of the same indicators floating around, so when one expires, it forces a move to whatever the latest working version is - assuming there is a latest version. Due to various coding, bugs, and calculating differences - having to upgrade to a different version will invalidate any type of testing. I know you sometimes say that you cannot always locate older versions for whatever reason to reactivate, but versioning matters for testing.

on the one hand i totaly can understand hp, brian and all the other selling coders. they have some knowledge and want to make some money with it. absolutly ok. i learned a lot of them and they pushed many interesting threads. on the other hand it makes once again clear how much important aesemes work is for hundrets of people and what a great gift he is.
