cant say ''found something'' after two days tests,even if most of trades are closed in hours so is a hard intraday trading.many methods have potential but need time.

You will never be able to cover the market 24/5 with just one strategy.

You either have to look what the expectations are for a day (week) and run with the appropriate strategy or have multiple strategies running.
In case of the later you have to make sure that a strategy doesn't trade while the conditions are not suited for him so he is not eating at your profits.

Ranges fi. did not trade the past two days because a) the ranges where to wide because of larger swings the previous days and b) very little activity.
For ranges itself you do not need another indicator to keep him out of a flat market (it could perhaps use an extra force indicator for entry).

While ranges kept itself from trading one of my other systems found the market was ideal for him (not EAX based) and was indeed trading filling in the gap ranges left.
So after some time different strategies will emerge here and it will be just a matter of when to apply them.

Never think "a day not traded is a day lost" but think "a day not traded is a day NOT lost".

can anybody explain to me the exact meaning with simple example numeric of this auction?

ok for 0=none

but TP in pips (pips override %ADR) ?
or
TP %ADR (10) (pips override %ADR)?

I have set 200 (2xADR) for TP and 100 (1xADR) for stop loss refering at % and not in pips, is correct?

No.... I tryed all sets from this forum on real account, no one is for +... Some can be profit for one day like JS sets.
Rangers is too, only in monday can make 700-800 pips...

WOAW!to use settings from other people in YOUR real account is just crazy and stupid.sorry no ofense.but to take a bank credit and use it in forex no matter what tool used or sistem... is madness.if what you do is not a joke and you talk serious i can tell you that you just gamble your money and dont have any knowledge about trading.so i think better go to casino cos at least there you can have some fun and free drinks LOL

I want to share some insights from me of this week. I found out that the Hawkeye Fatman indicator is one of the best currency strength indicators and you can trade with success currency baskets with it. I use it on the 15 min chart.

Look if you are in one of the three trading sessions (Tokio 0.00 GMT - 8.00 GMT / London 8.00 GMT - 12.00 GMT/
NY 13.00 GMT - 17.00 GMT)

Look if the Hawkeye Fatman indicator tells you that a currency is overbought on the top of the indicator or oversold on the bottom of the indicator and you wait for an angle (reversal).
Then you sell the basket on the top (overbought) or buy the basket on the bottom (oversold) and close this basket at the end of the current session.

 

  1. The steepness or angle of incline or decline of each of the currencies is telling you several things as follows :

  1. That currencys strength or weakness. The instantaneous strength can be seen at the far right edge of the indicator.

  1. The currencys strength history. What its been doing in the most recent past.

  1. The steeper the angle, then the stronger the change over time.

  1. In other words the steepness of the line signals the momentum in the currency.


Today possible baskets:

Tokio (Asia) session - TO open to LO open

NZD Basket: 174 Pips

TO session total: 174 Pips

London session - LO open to NY open - 1 h

GBP Basket: 99 Pips

AUD Basket: 115 Pips

LO session total: 214 Pips

NY session - NY open to NY open + 4 h

CAD Basket: 155 Pips

CHF Basket: 151 Pips

USD Basket: 134 Pips

NY session total: 440 Pips

All sessions total: 828 Pips

Don't ask me for the Hawkeye Fatman indicator this is a commercial one and I will not share this indicator on FF you can find it with google.

Is it possible to create a PIN for this indicator? I think there exists only the Hawkeye Fatman.ex version in the net and I don't know if it possible with this version to create a PIN for the EAX dash.

Thanks Hotpotato, this looks like Hawkeyes Fatmann indicator. I think this is a part from your BDM, can I use this for basket trading with EAX or is this only for separate currency pairs? I will look at this at the weekend.

where I can download the indicator? I'm currently learning basket trading.
