Seems like it but that is not the indicator.

Really stupid question from me of course but those are two different MT4 instances i hope ?

Edit, indeed it was stupid.
I see different accounts so 2 different terminals.

I am also testing 1.01 with Runtime 1hr since Asia till now. I dont see GBPCAD more than once.
But all closed trades are in loss. Trade closing is not ok.

My H4 trader got stuck on the wrong side of the gbp.
But never the less, look at the difference in the number of trades taken by you and me.

Over the weekend i will make the indicator aware of the current open trades when it is restarted so it won't start from scratch unablivouse of the already opened trades.
But first let see how many reports are posted.

Day 2 or should I say part of day 2.
This should have started Day 2 with a balance of $2806.39.
Day 1 was closed to start a parallel test with V1.01 however that terminal experienced difficulties with data receipt so that test was terminated.
V1.00 was left to run and this is the result of that part 24 hour period.

Re Testing BDMSimpleTrader
Just a thought for what it is worth, I am sure those far more knowledgeable will have an better suggestion.
The variations we are seeing in results can be due to so many factors but with a common start time, tests would at least provide a common baseline for evaluation ...
For all those testing, to achieve a common baseline for results we might consider all starting at a set GMT time.
That way we are comparing a common market, apples with apples (aside for spread, execution time etc), the major variable will be the setting in BDMSimpleTrader and for EAX that time could be provided in a common .set file
If screen capture is taken every 24 hours it will also give us an idea of which days may be best to trade - I understand it is not set in concrete, again so many variables, but an indication at this point in time may be worthwhile.

Just a stupid question here: I just need to download the set and the indicator and attach the indicator on the same chart as the dashboard - and load the setfile, correct?
Last time I tried this I didn't get any trades, so I just want to make sure, that I'm not doing anything stupid or missing something.

That is correct.

You can attach it to the same chart as EAX but you could also use another chart (within the same MT4) if you wish.

But please run only this on a dedicate account because 1.02 will be picking up trades in a very simple manner if restarted.
It will not be able to distinguish it's trades from others.

Is there any difference if I attach the indicator to the same chart or a different chart btw, or does it work the exact same way?

Because currently, I have simply attached it to the same chart EAX is on and will start trading on monday :=)

My results of two days with Catalins setup (RS+BQR, reverse) and Hotpotatos pin (EAX_2 Access panel). You can find the pin in post 2265 (page 114 of this thread).
First trade was opened the 19th of October at 18:46:37 (GMT+2). I closed all open orders the 21th of October at 22:08:05 (GMT+2). So these are the results of approximately 52 hours (2 days + 4 hours). Now is all closed and the results of closed orders are shown in the Tradereport. No floating profit/loss. Lot size: 0.02
You can find the setups in the 3 files:
Dash_setup, Pin_setup and MultiPurposeTradeManager_Setup.
The Trade Manager is for implementing the Breakeven Stoploss (after 20 pips profit and with 2 pips locked) and the Basket trailing stop (from 30$ Basket profit, 75% locked).
Profit factor of aprox. 2,98.
Load the indicator-pin on the chart of each traded symbol.
Warning: you must put the same magic number in MPTM and DashSetup, at least if MPTM is managing trades by magic number.

Just to clarify MultiPurposeTradeManger also on each chart or only 1 instance needed ?

Only 1 instance needed. Please, for the MPTM only use the chart of EurUsd or other much traded pair. Do not use metals charts for this.

Warning: you must put the same magic number in MPTM and DashSetup, at least if MPTM is managing trades by magic number.

Next week I will add some security measures, such as individual wide SL for each order (¿200 pips?, just in case) and a wide basket SL (say -10% of your balance). I will also try some new management tool for compounding trades, but about this I am writing a different post to be published soon.
