first must have BR in your PIN folder then easy set.watch for log files from Aeseme when he release something new cos if dont then you dont know how to use the tool

Take what you can, give nothing back
cescof just complete the steps as outlined in Hellspawn's pic. When you click ok on the BR custom indi's inputs it should automatically slot into place, just make sure you are adding it to the same chart as you have your dash loaded onto

It should be possible yes.
As far as I can remember, there were no significant changes that would affect compatibility with previous releases in a hard way.
For the time being, I try to keep backward compatibility as smooth as possible.
There could be some minor differences, but nothing of major relevance.

If you have the option to inherit settings from a running EAX, this is an expected behavior, and the main reason is that the indicator loads quicker than the EA, thus, chances are that when the indicator is loaded, EAX is not running yet, so there's no setting to inherit from at that point in time.
For the time being, a workaround to this is what you're already doing (I will try to improve this in a future update).
