I agreed with the 30% offered in forward by ETX in the meanwhile. The rest of the money is still pending somewhere in the void. This drama seems to be endless. Can't believe how the whole thing has gone so far. Good thing I didn't left too much monies there or I'd be caught by a deep depression by now.

Just curious they divided us into how many batches...
Do those who chose FSCS + ETX + being 1st batch ex-alpari clients already received funds?

Good question.. people talk about 2 tranches... the second one being in June..... how do we know there aren't more tranches ?

It would be nice if everything was over by the end of June...

"Dear Vijayan,
Thank you for your email.
The next installment of payments being redirected by the FSCS are due to arrive in June, however we have not yet been notified of a specific date. Please note we are unable to guarantee your funds will be included in this payment of funds, however once we receive any information regarding your pending payment we will update you via email."

This is the reply i got from ETX Capital regarding my mail .

At an earlier stage, I was told (on phone) that we can get the funds by 20th May,
then, we were told that we can get by the end of May,
and now, it's June... Only a portion of ex-Alpari clients got theirs.

Well... Now we further understand how fair is FSCS handling UK brokers' clients.

I have just spoken to John at the FSCS and for the second tranche he gave me an indication of payout being for the end of June 2015.However, I was alarmed that so far my name is not on the list for the second tranche despite agreeing the claim in the claims portal twice. To try and remedy he said I must speak to KPMG and ask why they haven't handed my name over to them as yet. The lady at KPMG gave me the standard response of emailing them but i did pick up that there was going to be more than 2 tranches... possibly a 3rd etc, etc.

All I'm saying is don't take it for granted that there will only be 2 tranches to be paid out and check with the FCA to see if your name is on the list for the second tranche.

Sorry if this has been repeated but ETX capital is a no no...IMHO
Currently the price for EURUSD on my mt4 for both desktop and mobile have frozen. Attemp to close trade is giving me an "invalid price" message. This has been going on for the past 30 minutes or so.
I thought it might be a network issue but closing my trade does not work on my mobile device as well which is on LTE at the moment.
Platform pretty much froze.

Overall this has happened to me twice. Anyone else?

Below is the minute chart compared with Oanda

Same thing here, also twice. I have also seen some crazy spikes usually at start of business on Sunday, for example 8th May GBPJPY showing a low of 181.072, I have checked two other feeds, not even close.

It's ok now. Wasn't a good experience, I was getting flash backs to the day Alpari froze on me

In fairness to ETX I phoned them and I was told they were aware of the problem and technicians were trying to
resolve it, and I could close positions over phone 24/7 if needed.
