Due to the number of checks that need to be performed to ensure that a client can be paid, including confirmation of personal and bank account details, some clients who have agreed their claims in the Claims Portal will not have been paid in the first tranche of compensation payments. The JSAs and FSCS are working through these as quickly as possible and if any further information is required from individual clients, the JSAs or FSCS will be in contact. If no further information is required it is envisaged that those clients will be paid in the next tranche of compensation payments. FSCS expect to make the next compensation payments in June 2015.

Our refund postponed...

{quote} It's all about anti money laundering these days. you don't need a dollar denominated bank account to receive usd funds. The banks convert automatically at the spot rate
Ignored
Err yeah, that's fine if you like to take a loss on the conversion back to GBP. Personally, speaking as a trader, I'd rather hold the funds in USD and have control as to the date and therefore rate of conversion. Leaving this to the timing of the FSCS/spot rate of the day is equivalent to closing your eyes, picking a chart at random and tossing a coin for long or short !

{quote} True, most UK and european citizens got paid in the first tranche. But as you said, people in middle east, and overseas were postponed to unknown date. As some one asked whether we still trust fscs? I say we dont have an other choice but to do. But we hope no hidden discrimination between clients is intentionly created!

I am from the uk and have received nothing as yet. I did a stupid mistake of adding one extra line to my address, guess that messed it up for me.

We are, outside Euro Zone, felt discriminated by KPMG and FSCS. Better NOT to use FSCS guarantee again. FIND Ausi or NZ or others. LOUSY!!!!!!

It has nothing to do with Euro Zone, I am on Euro Zone and have agreed claim on 29th of April. After agreeing I received the following email: http://screencast.com/t/ftwwei07TY they have also attached 2 documents confirming the claim to that email.

After that I have just waited and have not received anything else from them.

Dear Sir
Alpari (UK) Limited (in special administration) (the "Company")
I can confirm that you have agreed your claim with the Joint Special Administrators and that you have chosen to assign your claim to FSCS.

{quote} Now you confirm my thought, I filled the form same hour with a mate in the same office, same Nigeria, no chf trades, he agreed ETX I agreed FSCS. He got his money back last week and am yet to get my own money, and what baffles me is that I just get a confirmation e-mail last Friday that FSCS just got my data. Do they want us all to agree to ETX? if not there is no reason why we shouldn't get paid the same day or batch. kos
Ignored

My thought is that your friend didnt receive his money back, but etx gives him money from them, so he cant withdraw the money beacuse that isnt really his money yet, its from etx, and etx know exactly what is the amount that they are going to receive from fscs. So your friend can trade with money that etx is lending him but he cant witdraw it.

NO discrimination, but NO money. Justifiable, but it just out of stock...

I got "FSCS confirmation e-mail of Alpari (UK) Limited (in special administration) electronic compensation payment" on 15th of May. 13 days ago. I did not trade CHF in January and I did not change my data on the claim portal. I am from the EU. Only I did not choose ETX.
Make Money and Run.
