Disliked{quote} Ok, my attempt: the red line is a fake move aimed to create liquidity (herd traders/algos/stop loss) for a large order in the opposite direction, a buy order executed in steps during the period shown in yellow. The balance is one of liquidity. After both phases have finished, the price remains stalled, but is eventually going in the direction of the large order/up with a very high probability. kIgnored
Actually you might be right in your logic and you might be wrong depending on who's trading. If you ask me, there is no such thing as a fake move, except for the ones created specially by some brokers to take out SL's. You might be right on the direction thingy.
Anyway, as retail traders, me and you cannot know where the orders are placed and how large they are.
I do not base my entries on equilibrium.
