This one kind of took me by surprise. I noted the spinning top and doji side by side just above the quarterly-point, and waited to see whether or not price would start rising. When it dropped through the quarterly-point, I entered as indicated, thinking it would bounce off the mid-point level. Instead, it dropped through to just above the next quarterly-point, where I gratefully exited. I can see as I type this that I exited prematurely.

I wouldn't have taken those flags, Pete. Some might have, but to me, price had already peaked and was on its way down. Number 4 crossed down over the psych-line, but then price tested for resistance and was rejected. It tested again at number 5, but was again rejected and you'll notice that a doji formed right on the psych-line followed by price sinking again. 3200 looked at that time to be impenetrable, so a bullish movement definitely didn't seem to be on the cards. However, after the 5 "flag", you'll notice that price did move up a little...

Many thanks for your input EV, will take on board!

Morning, folks.
Missed this one earlier. A nice spinning-top formed right on MR1 after a short period of consolidation. I've indicated where I would have entered (after the break of R1) and exited. A more aggressive entry, of course would have been just above the high of the spinning-top.

Another EU 15m trade, but I managed this one! After the hammer-type retrace candle on R1, price continued down and entry was just under the low of said hammer. Exit around the quarterly-point, which isn't marked on this chart.

Nice trade, EV! Interesting how many ways there are to skin a cat - one could have entered also at "Double Top" (where, also, price failed to close above that prior swing's Close) and exited at prior swing's Low. With a similar results to yours. It's the profit that counts, at the end of the day.

You saw more than me, 007. I never even considered the double top! As you say, more than one way to skin a cat! That's what's so good about this business.

This is another one that I missed due to other commitments.

A bullish piercing pattern (blue rectangle) formed between the Main Pivot line and MR1, and entry would have been just above the MR1, as indicated. My choice of exit is indicated just above R1.

All this goes to show just how good, high-probability chances occur with this method when we get some good movement in the market.

In this one, price retraced to S2, where a dragonfly doji indicated indecision. Price then resumed its downward path towards MS2. It didn't give any indication of being a strong move, so I bailed out as indicated before it decided to reverse!

Anyone know of an indicator which draw ZONES based on FIBOS, PIVOTS, S/R , GANN?
The indi should draw a ZONE when all 4 conditions are in certain (x-range- ) pip-ZONE.
Would be great if this exists and maybe anyone like to code or share this here with all
greetings zackery

Been a while since I posted on this thread, but there still seems to be some interest in this worthwhile method. I'm not surprised, seeing as it's a very simple approach to trading!
The chart I'm posting is the 15m EJ, and it shows three possible trades so far today (since I got up, anyway!). The yellow circles highlight possible entry points and each probability was a high-probability opportunity.
Seeing as I have nowhere else to go, I might as well stay on here and post the occasional chart, and take it from there if others reciprocate.

Maestro returns. Great to see you post again. Glad youve not gone somewhere else. They wont appreciate uncomplicated charts. Such a shame you missed the EJ trade. I did likewise because my bloody computer is in for repairs.

Using my laptop only but it cant handle all the currencies at once & crashed this morning with 2 trades open. I closed them both immediately for +11 each as I couldnt see what was happening & trading has been about scalping the last couple of weeks as quick retraces, and a need for larger stops. Until yesterday! EU made +30 & EURGBP made +20. Both after breaking early trendlines. V frustrating missing the continuation.
Sorry I cant attach chart as MT4 is locked up again! Do check out EU for trendline break (also pushed down from 13250 psych, entry 13236), and EG for trendline and DP 8339, entry 8335, confluence break at 7.30am

Thanks for the reply to my post, brother, and nice to be in touch again. Sorry about your computer.......bloody frustrating when one's trying to trade great set-ups!!
I guess I started posting again because, to be honest, I missed the inter-action of the thread, even though regular posters of the past seem to have disappeared completely from FF.
Hope you get your computer probs sorted out soon, mate.
Take care.

which MA and pivot indicator are you using? Can you post the pivot indicator? It looks very clean.

It's a 50ema, mate. The pivot indicator is "FXI Pivots" and is available from the list of attachments where the paper-clip symbol is, above the first post of the page.

Edit: Oh, if you like to have mid-levels you'll need the Pivot Mid-Levels indicator, available from the same source as FXI.

A follow on from the previous chart......

A shooting-star and a dragonfly doji right on S2 (yellow circle), before price drops to the mid-point level. Could have netted around 30 pips or so.
