Hi I'm live trading in short timeframes and drawing lots of: trendlines support/resistance reference lines level lines all using the Trendline button. How can I draw different 'looking' lines for different purposes without manually going into the properties of each one?? and each time I change the properties of one - this becomes the default - so all future lines keep this 'look' - it all becomes a big mess - is there a better way? Thankyou

Obviously you have to set the properties of each object at some point.

However, for some shortcuts, see the 'Objects' and 'Duplicating objects' sections in this post. Specifically, highlighting all objects you want to edit in the Objects window, and then pressing Alt-E once to edit them all consecutively; and/or using Ctrl-click to duplicate an already selected object, and all its properties.

Thankyou Hanover, mt4 seems to be a good flexible product but some extra features like adding buttons to custom toolbars and the attaching code to the button would be usefull. Thanks again
