Seems to work - we'll see in the long run - look at how high my spreads are and it still scalps good on M15... (You'll find all the indicators on Google)
I will use this as my goto template for all future experiments and addons.
Added a maybe set and forget profile... Little by little... As my confidence grows I'll slowly increase the lot sizes. If things are too slow for you, disable some of the filters. Everything should still work out okay. I am starting off with less than 10 AUD so I have to be EXTREMELY cautious, especially with my huge spreads..
Going well. I am going to keep it running through the news that's up in less than a hour just to see what happens. I'll also shorten my SL somewhat to compensate. I am currently running on a DEMO account so no harm to be done except maybe to my ego.

Update: My Basket Stats indicator does funny things with the clock turned back, but the Equity Indy reveals it all.
Update: Be careful - the HAS & PTZ filters clear your trades when you do not want them to. I will no longer activate those!

Can someone please enlighten me as to what is clearing my trades for no apparent reason. Is it a bug or am I missing something? This is driving me nuts. Should I rather go back to the older version that does not expire? May I please have a copy of that version that stops the constant complaints about the news filter.
Update: It can even be my network connection as my Basket Stats clears itself every so often and sets every value in it back to 0.

In my opinion the purpose of this topic is not only to show others how clever one is but rather to help them in the easiest way possible to achieve same. And that would be to share one's profile file along with any pics of any special achievements.
After all, we are all out to achieve a living from this, some more so than others pressed by necessity. Life is not kind to all...
Update: I do not want to be too optimistic too soon - BUT - it seems to be working. The profits are VERY small per trade, but the account seems to grow constantly without any DD. I think soon I can put my AUD10 into my live account and auto trade it up into something that can generate more money. We shall see..
Update: Climbing steadily... It is clear, I HAVE to manually intervene and stop for news. Unfortunately this version of this FANTASTIC Dashboard would not do that for me.
As for my optimism and continuous updates: Over the last four years I've taught myself how to and coded literally hundreds of EAs in order do generate an income that I no longer have. My EAs worked, but I could not find any strategy that worked with an EA - that is until now. I've blown my account four times wasting the money that I struggled so hard to put into it. So now you can see and understand why I am so excited. It seems that at last - just maybe - I am onto something that can turn our lives around.
When everything finally works, I'll find out how to code something that can disable and enable this EA before and after news and code it into the EA that takes care of my stop losses, profits and trailing stops. Then my compilation of all of this would be fully automated. I love things that are fully automated that works!
Update: As you can see, I'll have to find a way to prevent the big guys from stealing from a small guy like myself. I am sure this could be done, maybe not by a PIN but it is achievable never the less.
Update: I see now this happened during a kill zone. This is an easy one to solve! Plus I found out only now that it is the BQ filter that closes my trades for no reason that I can determine. Next the PINS opens another trade just to be closed by same again. This puts it into a loop that will even empty my demo account in no time at all.
Maybe I just do not understand how to use it properly, but for now I'll stay away from the built in filters. It does not operate as anticipated.

To run the latest expired version of this EA, I had to set my Metatrader date to 2022. From what I can gather, your suggested method will not work in this case. Please advise me if I'm wrong.

Problem with that version is that it prints without interruption that there is something wrong with accessing the News Filter. That not only fills the buffer, but makes the network connection so busy that no one else can use it. Someone stated that she has a fixed version of same, but it seems that she is not in any position to share it.
Results of the BQ filter being activated. I noticed that the HAS & PTZ filters do the same. So for now I'll stay away from the built in filters except for the SPREAD filter.
Update: Fantastic!!! The DaVinci news indicator that I've uploaded has a variable that can be read by an EA. Now I only have to search on how to use it to dis/enable another EA & then I'll put this code into the EA controlling my stop losses. One problem less. Next would be to find the best times for the sessions bypassing all kill zones. Then we'll see if ICT still a problem.
Hopefully by next week I can risk trading all of this live.
