Alistair It's a minor change that fixes a bug in the custom lot sizes.

Hi Alistair,

All seems to be working fine now. So far today (ranging market) ea has opened the following...0.01, 0.02, 0.03, 0.04 and 0.05 with pending 0.06 so all good thus far.

I have to say, this has got quite some potential; well at least with my trading strategy. Thanks for all the effort you have put into this.

I am on version 1.3 and am getting error 4051. The weird thing is that a trade just got closed out using this EA and I did make some minor changes to the SET file before trying to take the second trade, but cannot recall what exactly.

I closed the cart and reloaded the EA with the same SET file (and even reset the inputs) and now it just keeps coming up with error 4051.

Is this something specific to my settings?

On a separate question, I want this EA to manage trades opened by my own EA. Is it as simple as adding my Magic Number to the input of this EA?

OK, I figured it out. When I add the EA to a live chart then it works, but not when I add it to an offline chart; which is what my renko chart is...

I don't know how/why it worked the first time on that chart, but not after.

Either case, I am back in action.

Now just the question of the MagicNumber... Is this number that of the EA opening the trade (an external EA's MagicNumber) or is it the internal EA number? And explanation would be highly appreciated.

Unfortunately I am facing an issue with closing the hedged positions. If the trade runs against me and hits the defined TP, the negative position is closed, but for the positive hedged position I am receiving an "Error 129: invalid price". Any idea what might cause this and how to fix it?

I downloaded version 1.3 but unfortunately it doesn't run in MT4. 1.1 is correct, but unfortunately this version does nothing :-( I have MT4. Build 1320.

Dear Zoheb! Thanks for your reply. I reinstalled MT4 and now your expert is working properly. I would like to know, what happens when I set EA mode to RSI-MFT? Will the expert be constantly trading? Sorry for my bad English.

Dear Zoheb! I want to run ay expert on a live account, but even though I turned on RSI-HTF, it doesn't trade. I use the RSI in MT4. Need another RSI? If not, what do I need to do to trade automatically. I checked everything is set up well. I wouldn't recommend running this ea on a live account yet, for 4 reasons:

  1. EA is brand new. Get in touch with it, learn exactly what it can do for you, and what not. See how strategy works, and if it works.
  2. EA have had some bugs. Thats no big deal, but how can you know if it works properly now? Wait, see and test it!
  3. There are christmas holidays at the moment. Big traders are on vacation and market is very volatile. I would wait until end of january to start with live trading.
  4. I'm not sure if you know what you are doing. In my opinion you are a beginner with forex. Thats nothing bad, but it's too early to start with live trading. Get more experience before going live!

I do believe that this EA is really suitable for high volatility market since it didn't matter where the market are heading. The weakness of this EA is when the market are ranging, creating many orders as a result.

Dear vPriVate! Thank you for your answers. Foreseeing that with all my respect and appreciation to those who are working to solve a commercial technique, I just wanted to help with my comments. I myself have been trading various currencies for eight years now. I studied on a sharp bill because time is more important than money. For me, there is less time. I was lucky enough to develop a robot that provides my livelihood, but I am constantly playing and experimenting with various technical solutions. There is what works and there is not. I have a similar program (similar to OGT), if I can, I attach a screent about it. Therefore, I am sure you are on the right track, you just have to pay more attention to the technical implementation of the program. For example, dealing with RSI open/close is not really the best :-( I have tested, it many times on live charts, but mostly unfortunately it is not open at the set 30/70 values, meybe it would be worth rewriting this routine. Despite all the difficulties, I can only congratulate all of you on your joint effort. If neccesary, I will be happy to help you test on my live account. Regards, Yesi

Hi,

Bug found regarding the opening of a new pending order on 'next bar'. Currently the EA opens the pending order on the 'current bar' instead.

The newest version is still only a month old.. I am sure they are working on new bugs or other kinds of ways to improve the EA.

But I know they have a LOT of more projects that may increase the time between each version, understandably since this is a completly free system and therefor we can’t expect more really..

dont get me wrong I would like this to be a focus too but I respect them and are just greatful for all they have done!
