Yes, you are right, the value (in $$$) of 1 lot on a micro account is other than on a standard-account.
But the size of the units are the same.
If you top up a demo-standard-account with 10.000 USD you get e. g. 10.000 units. And if you top your micro-account with 100.00 USD you get as well 10.000 units. Thats why there shouldn't be a problem with a micro-account unless you top up some money (a few bucks should be enough).

I have an XM account so yeah you are correct on the max lot size being 100 (Micro account)

Congratulations for all the effort and hours put into developing this ea guys!

I have a suggestion for improving and would greatly appreciate if it can be done. It's about the possibility to set the number of lots manual. For example if I use a 1:3 Risk/Reward than I would like to use a discretionary progression like this, Step 1/Initial trade 0.01, Step 2 - 0.01, Step 3 - 0.02, Step 4 - 0.02, Step 5 - 0.03 etc., for as much steps as I want. All depends on what your RR yields at any step and what profit you want at any step, so I basically calculate it in excel an than want to manually set every step value lot size in the ea, a level 20 final input in the ea, from step 1 to step 20 is sufficient in my opinion for everyone.

Also, a bug I found to look in is why the TP is always moving instead of being fixed on the chart, and very often the TP is not moved to the other order when I have a buy for example and the ea initiates a hedge and the TP remains on the buy, the sell has no TP set, the price drops and reverses more than the TP and the position is not closed in the specified profit.

It would be great if I have a fixed set TP on both sides with a predeterminated distance like 50 point for ex. So, I set 50 points zone recovery with fixed 50 points TP on any side.

i use pending orders , i dont open an order in the market price ...
example sell stop with magic number 12345
buy stop with magic number 12345

can the current version manage these orders ?
also the opened orders with a spesific mahic number such 12345 ?

I need to get in touch with a programmer who can help me build an EA that can help me enter the trades at round numbers, and check the market direction when hedging or adjusting the lot size.

That will be nice....pls can you consider making any trade that has reached the recovery close when a new trade with higher lot size opens?...instead of dragging the losing trade along with the winning trade. I found out that it consumes more pips in the process...for instance if trade a with lot size 0.1 gets to recovery, it is closed immediately trade b with lot size 0.2 opens in the opposite direction. It's easier to follow also as the table becomes less congested....thanks

Is it possible to scalp on 1 min chart and 30 point zone on eurusd for example?
I think u said zone can't be smaller than 200 points but I really can't scalp on that. Is there anything I can do about it?

It’s finally here! The long-awaited OGT ZONE RECOVERY EA v1.3 is now available to download.

The two major bugs reported (Max Trades function and Take Profit line) have been fixed in this release.

There are also TWO NEW ADDITIONS Alistair has coded based on YOUR FEEDBACK. Where and how to use them are covered in the video.

- The ability to use custom lot sizes
- Lot addition to the fixed lot multiplier

This is the most stable version. We are looking forward to your feedback.

You can set the zone to 30 points if you like. I recommend you try it in demo first to make sure it works and then with the minimum lot size.

The only issue is your zone needs to greater than the minimum distance for pending stops from current price, but that's broker dependent.

Also don't trade at NY close, as that's when spread widen and it'll kill your strategy.

I have tried this and found it to be far less effective, locking in those losses is hard to overcome.

Found a bug with the new version. My increasing lot sizes are set up as follows...0.01, 0.04, 0.07, 0.10, 0.13, 0.16 etc. The first pending order is correct i.e. 0.04 however the next pending order is again 0.04 instead of 0.07 as set up in the bot.
