I didn't install your ea yet, that's why I'm asking. But it was a valid trade. But now I see it wasn't . Need to install the ea asap.

This is pretty strange pair for me. I've configured it only now.

What exactly is the trend calculation? I'm not asking for the code, just wan't to understand what the EA is looking for maybe it can help me with the manual trades.

The EA does not work for me. I think maybe because my directory structure is a little different that what is in the EA inputs.

Please put JF4XTrader.xml into \MetaQuotes\Terminal\Common\Files folder
(If someone isn't able to locate common files folder please look here).

First of all, thanks for the EA. It is working for me. As far as I understand, the EA can not be used with Metaqoutes VPS. I tried, but the EA was deleted after migration to VPS. Probably xml file does not migrate.

I have the same problem. Its not possible use VPS with xml file, is possible to do something with this? I dont have posibility to have open computer all day that why i wish to use VPS

No I didn't put more than one EA... I try to read all the User guide and i was able to set the EA up. Everything looks good except that error and the EA hasn't take any trade yet.

I needed to change from COMMON TO TERMINAL in the inputs

I think you are using another VPS, not Metaquotes. Metaquotes is something special...they do not allow dll, for example, but they have some serious advantages for me.

Do it as is described in the first post. You've got EURUSD symbol. So: delete all files and start from scratch. Edit nothing. Firstly you need operate it with only one symbol EURUSD.

Hi JoeeF, not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere or I, probably, missed it. I'm just curious - is there any particular advantage in using this XML framework for EA development and use rather than the conventional way it's always been? Pardon my ignorance.

All loaded up (I think). I did notice that I had to remove and re-attach as some of the symbols were not displaying correctly in the window. Re-attaching seemed to correct this issue, just something to bear in mind for anyone else.

Change it in inputs tab and put XML config file into: \MQL4\Files folder
