{quote} My question is if a basket is set to take profit at a certain $USD or ADR% will that null the TP and SL in pips that I set for each position? Or in other words, if I set Basket TP at $20.00, will it close ALL positions at the moment when total profit of say, 12 positions, totals out to $20.00?
Ignored
Edward,

If you set an ADR% TP/SL it is a 'hard' tp/sl set for every individual pair with the broker and you can see it on your charts after the trades have been opened. These ADR% TP & SL will remain in place even if you lose connection or shut down your computer. The basket TP & SL (as well as the profit lock settings and trail function) are controlled by EAX and apply to your WHOLE basket - as long as EAX is running. And yes, you are correct, if the basket TP or SL is reached, ALL trades will be closed.

Safest option is to use a wide ADR% TP & SL together with basket TP/SL. Then you will have a tp/sl in place with your broker, but can still control the whole basket's tp/sl/profit lock/trail outcome with EAX basket settings.
Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure...

Hey bud, I use a moving average cross PIN. I dont have it on this computer so that I can share it with you but you can search in this thread "EAX_SidusV3_majesty_v2.00" and "sidus_v3_alerts". Its a PIN desinged for 2 moving average crossover. You can only choose one type of moving average (eg. EMA, SMA, WMA), but if you only want to know when price crossed the moving average and closes above or below it you can use the "fast MA" as "1" and the "slow MA" as the number you wish.

For examble I like to look for 50EMA crossovers on the 1hr timeframe so my PIN is set as fast MA: 1EMA, slow MA: 50EMA.

Hope this helps!

Hi
I think Stochastic (14,2,2) in D1 is a very good way for exit. i installed StochLive Pin for it.

i'm not sure how good it can perform in Dashboard because i have some troubles with exit. for example a couple of hours ago exit pin trigerred and closed all positions while it should close only one position that triggered close signal. also i couldn't see an exit signal in manual chart. i don't know how this pin give signal!
this is my chart:

Thanks for the info brother. I noticed your previous tests also were interesting. I guess up to now this is the best one for you since you decided to go live with it. I'm running with 4 setups in 4 pcs with different strategies and some are very good for the first time only
I hope to setup a test with your settings in the next week. please share updates. All the best for your live green pips

such class and style, I've seen you smooth a bit the stochastic a bit ( 14,2,2 ) instead 14,3,3 ), but i am try something less than 5m or 15, try to pick up the momentum ( impossible )

i will try put 5 pips profit and trail as 2 ADX give me such nice entry, but exit is another way.

But thank you so so much for the explanation. every day we learn something
