Hi Danapster you have a lot of greens all ways You use PIN1 ( Jagfx MUX ) as signal only? And PSAR and SMA as filters, right? PIN 6 is reverse from Trailing? PIN 4 and 9 are not active {quote}

Yes,

All you said is true. But becareful when you use this strategy, it performs well when the market is trendy. So when you hit your first 2 Baskets for the day, you may as well wait for another session. London Session produces good results. 1 or 2 baskets on London, 1 basket of NewYork. 1 on Asian Session, but Asian can be cruel to your account. Reverse trading I need to try.

Dashboard follows the settings of @Danapster posts starting from the Coral indicator, TDI then starts switching to Coral, Moving Average. Only added 10 London Open Bars to further minimize trading signals.
I invite your suggestions for improvement.

This whole thread is a great Manual, and the good thing is we keep updating the Manual everyday. It seems like you have jumped to the last continous pages. Go back and read, take your time. I only went thru 8 Pages, then Jupmed to the last page which was .... I don't remember. All I know is, it was October 2016.

So you have an idea of how far this Manual extends. You need help? Ask the relevant questions with the background Knowledge. Happy Reading...

I'm new to the forum and I have read tons of pages, belive me. My question is mainly how does this FILTER/TRIGER work...this BR,QBR,GAP etc. When are they filters and when are they trigers? What is the mechanism? And the buttons under them. It will take me ages to find out by tryal and error. If it is explained somewhere please point me to the post. I may be new to the forum but not newbe to the "game". I may contribute too. Have programmed some EAs on CSM basis.

Antoan,

Aeseme was kind enough to write most details of how things work into the board itself.
For example: In the properties, he has included the words FILTER or TRIGGER based on the function where you select whether you want this function visible or activated, etc. FILTER means a function will 'filter' your trades according to your settings = allow/not allow a trade. TRIGGER means that the function will actually trigger a trade if the conditions are met as you have specified them in your settings. INDICATOR means it works just like the indicator to which it refers = if the indicator would have told you to take a trade on your chart, EAX will trigger a trade on the board. If not, it will act as a filter and not allow trades to be taken until conditions are met according to your settings of the indicator. A further example is that he included a pop-up of information for each filter/trigger/indicator that appears if you hold your mouse-pointer over the button that you are wondering about.

It is good to hear that you have read many pages, but to read about all the combinations of settings, PINs, filters and triggers that people have tried will not help you as much as playing with the board itself. Sit down and patiently try various combinations of triggers, filters and indicators in the properties and see what they do and how they react in the live market. Don't load any PINS at first until you understand the basic functioning of the internal settings and properties. It won't take you ages. It won't take more than a few hours to understand how things work.

When you are stuck, search the thread for keywords and see if the problem has not already been addressed.

Anyway, welcome to EAX and glad to hear you have coding experience because we are ever looking for guys who can help with new PINS!!

Good luck with your journey.

What does it mean: BQ1 oposite direction status? What it does? Can you be so kind to clear that for me and also the Heat Maps. What are they and how are they used?
Thanksine advance!!

Now that's an explanation and a manual, thank you, it was very useful for me as well. I wish I could have it several months before when I began playing with EAX (I'd rather say "working with"), and when I began doing exactly what LifeHunt3r wrote - making changes in settings, trying to copy the systems of others as they were so green in pips and have so much fails and red figures with losses day after day. And after months of "teaching" the EAX how to trade according to my understanding and not giving up day after day it began to give some fruit in return. Take heed to his manual and advice, Antoan and other newcomers. I'd say that LifeHunt3r was very patient and kind of not ignoring the request to help but I think it won't last as patience has it's limits as well

The explanation of the BQ is on the first post of this topic. Did you really read that? For heaven's sake - please read at least first page as all the info is in there.

Antoan,

BQ arrows are related to the original CSM indicator. You can read this in the properties [BQ direction (CSM/RT based)]. Also, on the first page you will read: BQ = Base|Quote direction = Difference of strength between Base and Quote currencies of pairs according to CSM/TF expressed in direction. Opposite direction arrows simply means the base and quote currencies are moving in opposite directions. Search FF for the original CSM indicator, put it on a chart and study its behavior to fully understand how EAX generates its signals.

For Heat Maps, study how the Modoki Heat Map works and you will understand how it functions in EAX.

Cheers

The PINs functionality was designed and programmed into the board to do exactly this. It's all built into the settings. Start experimenting with settings for a couple of hours and you will find it.
