Guys am I missing something here? I have the EAX set with a basket TP and SL, and when the basket hit TP I noticed the dash opened new positions even though I have it set not to reopen?

See my settings, am I missing something that will prevent the dash from opening new positions after it has hit TP or SL while the session is still active? Thanks.

far as i know this should be enough to stop at 1 basket loss or profit.but ... thinking mt4 didnt had any update since some time then things might not work as we expect.

I have had the same, and puzzled over it, never seem able to stop it. I think it's a bug.

If I set it to 100 then the basket TP would be $100 correct? But I only want the basket TP to be $10 cos trading 0.01 means $ is 100 pips which is what I want as my target in pips, but the dash doesn't have the option to choose TP in pips.

All I want is that after the TP or SL is hit that the dash won't open new positions.

I have had this same problem in the past, as well as the dashboard almost choosing a random trail/lock to close the trades. I also think it is a bug with BASKET $ MANAGEMENT settings and it seems almost like EAX keeps a memory somewhere - don't know how or where - of previous settings. I also think maybe this 'memory' is based on a Magic Number that has been used and saved over and over for a long time.

Here is how I fixed it:
- Open a blank chart and drag EAX onto the chart like you did it the first time..
- Open the EA settings and save the default EAX settings to a set file - ex. DefaultEAX. Don't load your favorite settings, just save the default settings.
- In the Data folder, locate and open both the default settings file, as well as your favorite EAX preset file side by side.
- Drag all your personal setting from your EAX preset file to the Default settings file EXCEPT the BASKET $ MANAGEMENT and the MAGIC Number.
- Leave the BASKET $ MANAGEMENT settings as they are - all false and zero's, and also change the Magic Number to a completely new one you haven't used before.
- Save the new file under a new name you also have not used before.
- Close the chart and reload EAX with your new file name.
- From here on, enter your BASKET $ MANAGEMENT settings on screen.

Of course if you do not wish to enter all the BASKET $ MANAGEMENT settings on screen every time you reset the dash and you want to save it in the new preset file, feel free to do it, just be aware that it might again close trades unexpectedly or continue to open baskets again. In that case, just repeat the procedure again.

After I've done this I haven't had the problem again.

Hope this helps someone - let us all know if it did.

After I've done this I haven't had the problem again.
This is quite odd... have not had that behavior (at least not noticed it), by the way, running the update012.8 of Dec 20, 2016 5:59am?

EDIT: JFTR, I've just done a quick test (stop after 1 profitable / 1 losing) and it is doing as expected on my end... Basket target reached (SL in this case), orders closed, and no more orders were open even having 'signals'... and just to double-check, I'll let running a test for TP to see how it does...

EDIT: Second test looking for TP just finished and has also done as expected, no new orders opened after Basket TP reached, even having 'signals' ...

-Also The [Auto] Close [C] limited by order pips, offset set below (>-/+) _ didn't close at the pips i had set, but it did it afterwards

The TP works also perfectly never had any issues, and also the Basket set to PL also works
to collect profits after being in profit already _
But i am sure Aeseme will look into it _

Yes Aeseme correct, and i think most of the people managed to update to the Latest Eax 012.8

Not a bug, but with the evolving of PINS and PIN development over the last year, could you please make the following small changes to your original PINS requested by many EAX users.

DBMASMEAXPIN_BRdash_v004b and DBMASMEAXPIN_MADdash_v002a

Please change from this (drop-down with options only PIN 1-6):

It happened to me today with Tickmill
i don't know why just all of a sudden and on both platforms different computers ,,, it said common error
then i restart one and went fine but the other didn't restart after few trials, so i loaded history again
and started new account _ but this have to say happens on demo not on live _
I can see that it happens almost at the same time with you Brkr Mt4 +2gmt ... or maybe same time but i was not there and checked it later
