I missed all the Tokyo action today...such is life....perhaps Frankie/London will offer something....don't forget that France and Italy are having a bank holiday today so be careful in case there are some radical moves......

Would be better to sit today out if a trader is Euro centric, in terms of currency traded? Not sure how Euro moved on it's holiday, but the USD usually is stale during holidays.

Well who knows?.....it might be a great session because Germany and London will have it all their own way.....or perhaps it will be quiet and erratic. Trade it as you see it, but take care. If you are in doubt....stay out!!

Having a better MT4 platform it is a relief to see that the pivots are correct. FXCM's MT4 is out by miles, the UJ for example shows DP out by 13 pips and S1 out by a massive 30 pips. When you have built up an understanding of how important these lines are to PA it is a pain to see that blunder.

I dropped 40 pips in the Frankie Hour and pulled back 90 pips from London Open

For me, for now, FO = LPTrading, LO=HPTrading

I've paper traded the FO and for me it was hit and miss. To this end I wait for the LO as you can now relate.

Interesting news I read yesterday, about how EZ periphery yield spreads have been relatively narrowing, and there appears some stability on the EZ economic front.

But the major shift is that between EZ as the place for concern, has been replaced by China.
I am a fallible imperfect person; so I must be a fallible imperfect trader.

I would open a sell trade on EJ, in the same time a got a phone-call and answer this one..
No prob, after i was ready, i looked on my chart and saw, that i opened a BUY not a SELL trade
It was a high lot trade. Ok, now its really important that you close such trades immediately.

I closed the trade and opened a sell trade and closed the trade after 15 pips in profit. Yeah, maybe he will run now down, BUT in this time i am not able to trade.
I am happy to safe my account, and get my lost pips back.

Yep...that telephone can cause a big problem sometimes....I posted before that the telephone call I got just after the Japan earthquake/tsunami distracted me and I had my trade on the wrong way and I forgot the SL......that mistake of mine cost me more than $6k!! It was a hard way to learn to *FOCUS* on the job in hand......forget about the phone and everything else.....trading is work, and work is important!

My account survived too, but it's a lesson that I will not repeat!!

Yep I was in the EA trade, I was doing some other stuff as well so I just popped into the thread a couple of times but I had nothing to say....yeah, yeah.....I know what you're thinking!!
