Disliked{quote} I was napping while all that happened... But woke up prior to LO and entered EJ sell. I caught the EJ sell (right after Tokyo open) earlier this morning, but i closed the trade to be at -10 pips then the pair bounced back downwards... Like yesterday, i did not respect my SL (you made a post about it.. Guess my emotions got ahead of me). Learning....Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yup...those pesky emotions are difficult sometimes. Did you read the PDF about emotions?...there's a link in Post #1Ignored
Disliked{quote} Going to read it this weekend. Someone mentioned the book too (forgot the person) this weekend. Need down time to digest it all. So for your EJ (also same trade as you, got in @130.48) what is your ideal TP? I read a post earlier from you, this month i believe, that TP would usually be at pivot points or round numbers, would the Rule #3 as in the Genesis manual, be good for TP as well?Ignored
Disliked{quote} RJ, hope you don't mind with my (similar) question about stoch M5 for your EJ setup on London opening. The only thing that prevent me from taking that setup was the stoch on M5 which I thought was too low. I was trying to look for divergence but I didn't find one. I would be glad if you share your opinion about this. Btw, I did take the EJ short earlier on Tokyo session and closed on +10 which should be hit my TP, I still caught in my own fear. I read the PDF and trying to exercise, apparently visualization is not so easy for me. Need more...Ignored
Disliked{quote} Did you watch the little movie I made about the stoch? It applies perfectly to this trades situationIgnored
Disliked{quote} I watched it. When stoch stays on the lower area, it means bear is strong and vice versa. thank you, RJIgnored
Disliked{quote} I took that one too RJ. Out now for a 1RR. When price reached 2RR I moved my stop down to 1RR. Not sure whether its the best way to trail, but it at least locks in my profits on the way down. {image}Ignored
Disliked{quote} Yup...that's not a bad way to go for a CT trade Trekker. CT trades are ok if everything lines up, as it did in this case, but we have to remember that it IS a CT trade, so we have to be ready to take a modest profit. You did wellIgnored
Disliked{quote} Cheers RJ. Good to know I'm taking the same trades as you and looks like it was the right decision to get out where we did.Ignored
Disliked{quote} I took the exit at +19. That will do for a CT trade....best to not push my luck!!Ignored
