Picked 3 currencies to stick with for a while but got into the slowest one first +10 so far though on UJ......watching what I could have done with EA and GA....I'll be ready next time!!!!
Earthquakes are common now? Not sure why but this year there are more higher magnitude quakes than previous years. Here in China, there are recent quakes that all range 5.0 and up.

EJ trade, entered early Tokyo session and exited @ 130.10.. Should kept it open, first trade this week that went over +30 pips, wanted to lock it heh. Next time ill have more patience. Sticking to Rule 3 for exiting is hard to implement.

Where I live we generally get 2 or 3 year every year...not often over 5.0 though. This year does seem to have more violent shakes than before......oh well....such is life living about 15kms from the fault line...lol

Yes, patience is the holy grail imo. I try to always check the M15 chart before I exit, which is the basis of the 4 week test ending today. It certainly helps to stay in the trade, but we can discuss that in more depth next week once I have all the date

This Tokyo session has been profitable, and I had nothing to do for the first time this week so I managed to catch some pips. Time to prepare dinner now but I will be back for Frankie....I'm looking for a decent finish to this week, and this 4 week test. As usual, I'll post the immediate weekly test results, but it might take some time to create the PDF as I did for the last test, but it will come...promise!

Aftershocks are coming thick and fast....up to and including one at 6.0 about 40 minutes ago. I just realised though, it was on this day, August 16 that Elvis passed away.....so HE must be the cause of all this rock and roll going on!

We had here, in Turkey, a strong earthquake on 03:00 AM, AUGUST 17, 1999, ALSO It was 7.3.

There will be some charts in the PDF, but the purpose of the test is not to show specific entries and exits, but more to show where just watching and M5 chart would very likely have caused you and I to exit the trade, when looking at the M15 chart, there was no reason to exit. So the test is really about how to stay in the trade rather than entries and exits. We know how to enter, and exits depend to a degree on the style the trader chooses. I will be the first to say that posting a trade the instant you enter is neither practical or sensible, but once some measure of profit is locked in, it's good to analyse the trade in 'real time' and discuss possible exit points etc etc. Far, far too many threads here at FF specialise in (supposed) closed trades, some even hours later, and this is worth very little imo. Of course it's good to review past trades, but it does stretch ones belief when all they EVER post are winning trades that closed ages ago.....even trades that took several hours to complete, and there was ample time to show it live. Those threads and those posters are not worth the paper they write on imo, so I am very pleased that people here post live trades as and when they can.

Like I say, it is not always possible or practical to post live trades, but when we can (and do), everyone learns a lot. There is not much to be learned from constant winning trades that are posted after the fact, imo

That's true....but with every earthquake NZ moves further away from Australia.....not sure if that's good or bad!!

Another reason to increase airfares.

Does anyone have any stats regarding arrows appearing BEFORE the MATRIX is lined up?? If not, something to look into this weekend. It doesn't occur very often - just wondering if anyone has done any work.

I have never done any work on that, no. It could be interesting though.

I see the Aussie dollar is doing well, and Kiwi to a lesser extent. I might have to replace EU with AU next week as EU has a pathetic PA just lately......
