I'm up about 150 pips today at the moment, two trades still going put a 45 pip trailing stop loss on both (both still have great looking PA and TDI). One trade didn't do much got a slight TDI hook over signal just now and exited out for a 3 pip profit.

Will post charts later.

Guys and Gals,

I'm to the point that I don't use the stochastics that much anymore
and just rely on the TDI indicator. The stochastics cycles differently
than the TDI and I trust the TDI more. (but that's just me)...

Also I work at night. Before I go to work I'll set my trades (2 four
hour bars). I work from 10:00 P.M. to 6:00 A.M. mountain standard
time which is about 4 hours before the London open.

I'll set a $100.00 hard stop (just in case) and go to work. I can't
check my charts until I get home again 8 hours later. For the
most part 80% of the time I'll be in profit when I get home. After
I'am home and check out the charts I make my decision to stay
with the trade or liquidate the trade. This way of trading has been
very profitable for me.

Hope this might help someone!

Hi Eelfranz and all,
I just took this trade on the eurusd and my question is, does the PA have to pass the 5 MA (be on the correct side as position) in order to take the trade or is it correct as I took it . Only on page 11 if it was answered since. Thanks For the assistance and thanks for a wonderful straight forward thread

Here is a trade I took as per the rules on GU. This morning in the US session.

Took one last night per the rules, ended up being a 34 pip loser.
(Exited as per the rules when the TD went flat.....looked like fakeout before the move now)

This is live with 1 cent per pip. I use a stock 100 pip sl right now.

As of now up 14 pips.

Hey Kumo im fairly noob at trading but as mentioned my scoops you really need to watch out for resistance/support up ahead.. If you look at the charts you are buying into an area that has not been touched for a long time so chances are it may bounce back again(or it could go and go ).. If im wrong someone please correct me.

JayTrader...looks like a good entry per rules...BUT...
Busy news day for USD this morning...it could influence a short negatively before it all shakes out...Daily and Weekly TF's do show room for more up movement so this could just be a correction and should be traded as such if true...
I like the trade myself...
Cheers,
Cliff

Perhaps it would be a good idea to check the direction of the daily trend before entering your 4hr position.

For those interested in longer TFs the U/J might offer a good opportunity!... Just waiting for the cross...

Hi Jay:

I have been demo trading this method for a few weeks, so I am still learning myself.

I would not have taken this trade because your red candles are really small. Secondly, they are consolidated. I wait for bigger candles. HA candles are a bit different. Your candles can be quite big at their opening, unlike the traditional candles that grow as price moves. I tend to think that the bigger the candle is initially, the more momentum the trade will have.

Now to your question, I wait for the candle to cross the 5 ema. However, if the Stochs, PA, and TDI offer strong confirmation of the direction, eelfranz will enter right when the TDI crosses. Hence, it is the TDI that drives this method more than the 5 ema.

I hope this helps.

Here's a session clock. You can edit the code and change the locations. It also shows the spread. HTH.

Ya ur wrong it's recently been passed my entry by greater than 50 pips.

Just because it hasn't been by a price in a while doesn't make it hard resistance.

If it had shown hard bounces that got rejected then it would be resistance.

Sure it might not work out, but I'm following the rules and see how it pans out.

Nope not up +50 unfortunately, just meant that it's recently been +50 past my entry no problem.

And I'm only at 1 cent a pip. so win or lose no skin off my back. Just trying out the latest, "awesome can't lose system," from forex factory to see if it's a useless as the others lol.

(Sorry for sarcasm, but I've literally been through dozens of methods from FF that start out the same way as as this, everybody is excited because they make some pips, then the market comes along and shows everybody that it's not all that great) .............sure hope it is though, like the simplicity.

Nobody is right or wrong, we just observed the closeness of those resistance areas that would personally put me off. I hope it works out for you though. I would also add that nobody is saying you can't loose, demo the system for a while if you don't like it then move on.

All the best

lol yeh man dont worry know your pain, countless hours of reading and such and then things just dont seem to work out sometimes. Thats learning i suppose we must perceiver to hopefully one day make it somewhere..Just gotta put all the things you learn together make it work. Using this while making sure to be aware of obstacles ahead (big numbers/s/r/pivots) seems easy enough to follow so ill give it a shot.
