Yes, you can only run one ea per chart.

It occurred to me earlier that I can probably combine R&R and mptm into the same bot, given that the only thing R&R does is send the initial trades. I am just working on this at the mo.

Strategy Testers, prepare for Heaven.

I have stuck R&R's trade-sending code on top of mptm - post 1 as usual.

Brian, download this one and load it onto the chart, over the top of the existing R&R, then close down the chart with mptm running on it.

I am starting to become a little excited about this bot. Not bad, considering that I coded it for a bit of fun.

Question is that the new ea you mentioned combines both on one chart?

For newbies unfamiliar with the concept of Martingale, I have added a section about this to post 1.

Watch the mptm defaults if you have just downloaded the combined version; I forgot to set the as per my post 1 description. I have re-posted the bot.

Installed the original one, launched on nnn pairs, played around with BE & TP & TS (10;20;20), let it run, installed the combo version and hopla! Great fun ! Well done Steve (suggestion: experiment with the water temperature of your bath, it could increase/decrease your productivity...)

Good stuff indeed. I will have to free up some computer resources to play with this...

I can confirm that rich people take very cold showers (from my experience at Henley Royal Regatta). Thanks to the cold shower they a) spend very little time in the shower b) there is never a queue for the shower, again, time saved c) need other ways to prove their manhood. All in all this greatly adds to productivity

Dear Mr Hopwood,

Could you please code user defined inputs in the new Rinse and Repeat EA to:-
a) Control the number of times that Hedge the Hedge operates
b) Set the pips distance from the hedge before a hedge the hedge trade is sent and
c) Break even profit pips for the trade, the hedge and Hedge the hedge trades

Sincerely

Nicastro

I think the most likely outcome for those of you trading multi-pairs is a blown account, but that is what demos are for. We shall see.

So is (c), but I haven't a clue how. I have emailed Daddy for help.

Do I put the bot on each pair I want it to trade
or
put the bot on 1 pair and it can open trades on all pairs

If it is 1 bot 1 pair for all pairs

what do i need to have set to do this

too much dry cleaning fluid on the brain

Does dreadful things, dry cleaning fluid.

I bot per pair, ootb except for lot size. Mind, I think trading on more than 1 pair will blow the account fairly quickly. Mine is only on EU because of the spread.
