swingman one of the great free indi coders and I used his first fractallevels years ago to simulate the George Swings,
But in the end I can easily see the Targets now with just my eyes and the screen is no longer cluttered.

Any trader wanting to look at it ON A SIMULATOR on the weekends etc and leave the old lines on the chart (alive only = false) can see clearly
how the market runs these targets and takes them out, session after session, day after day. But like any lines we use, it is WHAT the larger market & other traders will do NEXT at those lines that is important, not just that the lines exists.

Great reading some of the older threads imho, cheers dave.

YES, Make 'em work hard hahaaa

Okay V4, I never got that far, interesting.

On the top left area of the chart, where there are four Magenta Horizontal lines low mid-left, well (our) George lol (not SM),
would always chuckle as the market blew through the whole four in a one-candle sweep. Took them all out in one fell swoop as it were.

Then the next candle then is a quick spike-up teasing in 'new' reversal traders thinking those 4 Lines would act as Support, while Our-G just called
that a Herd Mentality Validation Line Up that did not act as support at all there, as after the spike price blew the longs out again with another drive south.

All these things & more are market mechanics & market behaviours which we can see day after day if we look for them, just done on different expansions & times.
A highly organised market is all I will say. And thank goodness, really, for traders imho.

Great chat Dave, all the best,
I wind down now for the evening here in Aus, while all you lucky folk get the big runs maybe in New York hahaa (no fomo for me though, tomorrow always awaits)

The dailys are sure interesting ZL though I have stopped trade-assessing them for years now.

Looked like 3 Inside-Bar Days with a Gap Open low on Bar #2, then a quick run back up in Asia to close the gap, and now selling off again.
Who knows, not me, maybe just under 56500 if they want it lowor 56900 above if the counter comes back in -
leave me OUT as I dont know the pair, just guestimating for some fun here lol

I'm closed on all trades now, all the best folks

Indeed, and are becoming more interesting to me, no pun intended...daily....

For me they seem to hold some different characteristics, as far as candle reading goes. Certainly a candle pattern on a 5 or 15 min chart, cant be expected to carry the the same weight of a daily? Or can it? That's probably debateable in certain circles. I've traded other timeframes in the past. But it seems, for whatever reason, that my winning percentage is considerably higher on the daily. So I will work on my comeback from there for now.

Couple of guess for tomorrow...

Hi ZL,

imho the Daily candle carries more weight for the daily blocks, while the 15m candles carry more weight for the 15m blocks, if you know what I mean.

But we all know (that I'm certain) Steve Nison said after studying with the Japanese back in the day that the original candlestick reads they did were
ONLY on the end of day candle. ie the DAILY candle itself.
AND, Steve noted
That the original Japanese candlestick readers put MORE weight on the combination of a few daily candles (ie not just the last one),

But I haven't studied the Dailys now for many years, as in the end it had to come down to where intraday I would be putting my trade on anyway.
We cannot in Aus just trade at the Day Open here,
as the first ˝hr to hour the spread widens dramatically as with the low volumes of traders & probably nowhere to offset those trades for the LPs.

all the best with it for sure, I enjoy seeing the Daily Charts that a few posters will put up here including yourself.

Okay, the following chart spans three days, BUT by using 15m candles

So is this a Daily View or a 15M view

What it IS though, is the Market Mechanics that they will throw up day after day & session after session for us
