(Chart Analysts would have noticed rotations, breaks, tests & retests (a few times) and THEN price moves away from the Structure Lines in one direction (OR the other). Traders call it Breaks Of Structure. )

Imo the market does not and CANNOT give away freebies to everybody.
When we use trading analysis we may well improve our chances imho of being on the right side of the ledger.

Hi Dave,
Apart from the standard Lines I watch such as, but not limited to, RNs and recent (George) Swing Targets and plus with the Monthly PP now way above
at 162.174 after providing its rotations for two days on end then for Line Analysts, I note again that
The Yearly PP has been around town since Friday, and had some interest at the end of last week from buyers & sellers,
(as well as being in the eyes of the Larger Market, and certain traders also maybe, back on the 15th, 16th & 18th of this month).

Trade well folks, trade safe AND analyse
(you might then begin to see the benefits imo, once this becomes part of your daily trading routine)

The above should, imho, be mandatory reading, Dave, for any still thinking analysis is of no use.

OR even the ACTUAL reason traders lose
(YES, this last totally illogical premise was put forward for new traders, over on another thread, wow)

Hi Dave - with all due respect m8 if trading was as easy as waiting for a candle to pop outside the top or bottom Bollinger Band, then the whole world would be millionaires.

That said however, with proper risk management and good trade management you can make most things work.

Also, if you analyze their posts you will find some huge inconsistencies from one week to the next so no thanks, don’t need to spend a bunch of time trying to figure them out. we are trading in a 5 Trillion PER DAY, market, a market very...

Bugger all on telly ! Just watched this video. Looks like a variation on trading the London open.
Seen anything like this before ?
( He does say in the intro that if you think this will gaurantee 50 pips a day then you are a plonker) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C32JdJ9QcEQ

Hi All, Looking at how GBP/JPY is progressing in Asia session. I was at my day job so unfortunately didn't place a trade. May NOT have traded it either way as after the New Asia High I normally wait for a re test of the RN before i place trades on most occasion. (Price went straight to Tokyo Open). It did test the Tokyo Open Line with pins though. 1st and second targets were both hit. Double top was formed later on, 2nd top just a pip away from first confirming a high for atleast Asia..who knows. More targets are formed along the way. It has been a very clear price action so far today and traders might have had some decent pips. Its not always the case though. Any input is welcome.

Trade Well All.

Hi W,

Your chart analysis looked spot on for mine.
It shows me again that when we as just retail Traders can analyse our markets we can choose when & where we might find high probabilty entries.
As long as we don't force our perceptions of direction on the market they do offer up pips for us daily.
They must show us the way they are moving, while if we just don't see it, then we don't trade, simple.

Plus it is possible to trade such range markets in both directions,
as when no firm intention is shown by the market participants to force anything purely one-way directional in the asia session,
we just jump in and on with them.

I entered for two snips on the way up from that 2nd test break of the Yr PP on it way back up towards the classic Double Tops.
No fomo for me, day is done or can be, I was on skype with Kev and looking at HIS charts also on the same sections you identified well in your analysis.
Kev saw it the same also as you W, as he told me.

all the best traders,
analyse, improve our trading, analyse some more imho.

The Market Mechanics are like clockwork imho.
Not exactly the same each day, of course, but the same principle each time.
Trade well folks.

(edit: sorry, nearly forgot lol. The first of the Double Tops was to take out the George Swing Target from yesterday just after their London Open - imho )

Remember they just show area's of interest with a little more confluence added
Then its down to the old PA for the nitty gritty
Of course MM is needed , which goes without saying for all trades

BB is a standalone breakout system, the bands give you range, the middle line(SMA) give you direction. it's a visual start/end trend following.

Nice work W,
From where I sit & looked you grabbed what I call a Lock Trade. Well done. Little pressue, little worry, it WAS heading to the Station above so a 90% probability.
I've snuck around just 20p for the day from a few in there among the cunning non-directional range bound stuff they've offered up.

Soft news NOW in an hour for the Pound, so they have an opportunity to find an extra 60 pips if they wish, top or bottom.

I've got what I require so will just watch from afar now. If a grind began I can wait it out and sneak in at "re-tested confirmed" edges with patience.

If they rotate price in range all night it is tradeable yes, but I'm not inclined now, even though an hour earlier lol, the next stage is Pre-New York (monkey-biz hahaa)

I like to have a few views at my disposal so the Fibo from the last Major Swings I see puts price smack-dab in the middle. 50%. Just where they like it lol

See ya all tomorrow, good fortunes
