haha good thing i didnt go sleep, i thought id stay up for the 4h bar to close and them boom, had a short on gbp/aud 16689 and gbp/usd 12611. shame my broker decided to make all trade decisions phone calls only and suddenly they werent answering the phone! Typical IG Index, oh well still gained 900 pips by the time i closed so cant complain.

depends on t&c of broker, some offer 'guaranteed' stops for even up to 25 lots.

that being said, electronic execution with an order already on the system will get you out faster than any 'human hands'
