Price ran up the TL to the 134.00 psych-line, and then turned down through the confluence of the 50sma and the TL. Entry and exit as indicated.

Price dipped under the 90.00 psych-line and then pulled back up to test for resistance. As happens so often, after the test, price meandered down to the next psych-line, in this case, 89.50. Entry and exit as indicated.

Good to see your charts, Roose. When to get out can be a problem, unless you establish a target. At least then you're in control.

A rather impressive bullish flag pattern formed, and crossed over the 50sma/1.850 psych-line confluence, before price meandered up towards the 1.0900 psych-line. I didn't wait for it to reach the next psych-line, being satisfied with what I'd got! Entry and exit as shown.

I wish I'd taken advantage of this beauty. The first pull-back across 89.00 would have yielded nearly 40 pips or so. The second one would have given me approx 50 pips! Two little TL's and a couple of psych-lines, eh? Amazing what's on offer if one keeps one's eyes open!!

Great trades EV, reading through your posts you seem to have a crystal ball, maybe I could borrow it sometime?
Looking through the charts this stands out to me, I didn't take it as I wasn't around. USDCAD wedge..
I managed to get a 1:1 trade on USDJPY, see below, luckily I got out to the pip before it turned around but I traded the channel breakout..
Really enjoy reading this thread, I love the simple stuff..

Looking at your charts, it seems that you're depending solely on chart patterns? They are trend-lines after all, I guess, but I do advise you to get some lines in there, be they pivot lines or psych-lines, or both, depending on your preference. After all, they do form the basis of acumen's method. Also, I've found that a 50sma comes in very handy for trend references.

After price pushed down through 122.50, there was a small pull-back before price resumed its bearish journey. It didn't take long before it hit 122.00 !

Here is a missed trade on my part i didn't get in due to the size of the pin bar(highlighted area). Does anyone else think this was a viable trade? GBP/JPY {image}
I think it was viable, mate, but I can understand why you hesitated to enter this trade. Lots of candles consolidating can make you sit on your hands whilst you wait for a clear opportunity. The opportunity was there, but that previous consolidation could tend to make you think twice. Forget about it, mate. There's always another opportunity round the corner.
