DislikedOk so i've done some more demoing on USD/JPY and GBP/JPY. I'm still struggling a bit on when to get out however. USD/JPY- Price broke the support, it was against the trend so i was wary. GBP/JPY- Price broke support and was below the sma, it was also hovering on top of 186.000 level forming a triangle i belive. Critique is welcomed as always {image} {image}Ignored
DislikedGood to see your charts, Roose. When to get out can be a problem, unless you establish a target. At least then you're in control. Nice to see coastie nipping in and out now and then!Ignored
DislikedThe magic of trendlines! 2 trades I took yesterday. {image} Cheers CoastieIgnored
DislikedGreat trades EV, reading through your posts you seem to have a crystal ball, maybe I could borrow it sometime?Looking through the charts this stands out to me, I didn't take it as I wasn't around. USDCAD wedge.. I managed to get a 1:1 trade on USDJPY, see below, luckily I got out to the pip before it turned around but I traded the channel breakout.. Really enjoy reading this thread, I love the simple stuff.. {image} {image}

Disliked{quote} Hello Gareth, and welcome to the thread. Crystal Ball? I wish!Looking at your charts, it seems that you're depending solely on chart patterns? They are trend-lines after all, I guess, but I do advise you to get some lines in there, be they pivot lines or psych-lines, or both, depending on your preference. After all, they do form the basis of acumen's method. Also, I've found that a 50sma comes in very handy for trend references. I hope you stick around, Gareth, and I look forward to seeing your contributions.

Disliked{quote} Forgive me for butting in. I always read EV's posts. Regards Gareth's first trade - seems it broke the psychological line of 1.35500 -price even came back to it? Second chart 123.100 was broken for a long (against trend) but grabbed a few points. Same pattern saw a possible short (with trend) from 123.000 ? 122.750 sees price action ( including a nice Pin) bouncing ( Long ) off that level ? 122.950 seems to be acting like a pivot ( with flag forming) ? Am I reading price action almost EV style yet ? Comments welcomeIgnored
DislikedHere is a missed trade on my part i didn't get in due to the size of the pin bar(highlighted area). Does anyone else think this was a viable trade? GBP/JPY {image}Ignored
