15m..... AJ Price rejected the confluence of the 50sma and the 88.00 psych-line and pushed down through the TL that started last night. Price then pushed down further through the 87.50 psych-line and then tested it for resistance with one long-legged doji. After that, it continued downwards until price seemed undecided for around an hour or so. Lost interest eventually, so I closed as indicated. {image}

Sorry it took so long, I have been very busy with work and family etc.
Here is the chart that I promised.
As you can see price settle down after the red news, then during early Asian it continued down.
18pip Stop and 46pip Target.

Nice one, coastie. Personally, I would have waited for the break of the .50 psych-line also, but each to their own.

I didn't take this one due to other duties, but it's an interesting one. Price meandered along the 87.00 psych-line....lots of indecision......before finally dropping to the 86.50 Psych-line. Would have yielded around 36 pips or so.

Price pushed up to the 0900 psych-line and then pulled back quite a way before attempting another assault, and this time it pushed through with very little resistance. Entry as indicated, and I decided to get out when price reached the high of 31/12/15. The first of many, I hope!!

Very nice one EV. I got into it as well and got out at 00 level, as needed to go out, for around +10. Glad that you rode it up there.

After an hour or so of consolidation along the .0850 psych-line, price then dropped down, pulled back, and then dropped to the .0800 psych-line. Entry and exit as shown. Not a bad start to the year!

GBP/JPY I missed this one today. Hopefully someone got in on the break of the trendline near the 175.500 level. The stoploss would've been on the previous Hi. On the plus side during the break i've decided to measure my SL and TP by using the previous Hi or Lo's and aiming to gain more pips than that.

So this one was a bust.... only from my own mistakes though. EUR/USD i got in after support was broken near the 1.08500 level and sat through a small pullback. I should've gotten out at the magenta line because price had stopped there previously and news was right around the corner. Learn something new with every trade. I find myself getting better at sitting through small pullbacks.

Hi, coastie. The only mint I own is the one in my mouth right now, matey!! Regarding the trades.......my advice is to keep the charts simple and not cluttered up. That way, it's easier to spot potential trades. Less is more, as they say, but each to their own.

Hey my friend, I had a long break from FX to recharge the batteries and now I'm back

I will post come charts soon, good luck tonight, fortune favors the brave as they say.
