What do you think would be a nice trading window on AUDJPY?
I did a very fast visual backtest and my first thought was to trade it at London Open or London Open +1 (due that it tend to trend during Asia) and take 1 or 2 cycle max. But I noticed that some days it trend even during London and US...There are weeks that this trading window looks very good but 24 August and 22 Sept are just a 2 random examples of how our account could probably blow ...

Searching for another pair I would suggest the same trading window that we are using on EURUSD but also on EURGBP, it seems to be a turtle after London Close...

I attach also the trading session indicator for everyone want to try to search new pairs, I think is very useful to do this kind of fast visual backtests on some specific trading window... Playing with settings I just removed 2 of 3 session and I use 1 to point out a specific time range...

Quick question, if like in situation couple days ago, we don't have time to cut our losses, what should we do?
At that time I think my losses almost reached 30%.

FYI, on my demo account, because of my glitch (maybe my vps or my set file), the EA kept on running even though I put trading time between 1am-6am SGT, it managed to close with profit in around London session, after opened another 3 more orders.
Hi Radityo, I have a very strange situation.

My current price interval is settled to 50.

For instance, bid is 1.06176 and ask is 1.06188.

The first buy limit is settled @ 1.01117 and the first sell limit is settled @ 1.11232.

Something like 5000 instead of 50?

I push "force close all" and the expert set a new cycle with buy limit @ 1.06145 and sell limit @ 1.06261 (correct).

How is it possible?

Curious... is your vps also running other stuffs? if only Mt4 running, will it taking up a lot of spaces?

AUD/JPY is quite hard to find the start-stop time pattern. Few cases, it was trending during off time and it is quite strong. Checked the calendar, nothing happened. So, this is the one reason dragging me off this chart. When I set time to 17:00 - 21:00, there was a day where it is trending during that time and never came back. When I set time 21:00 - 00:00, it was the same as well. So, need to find the perfect time window.

EUR/GBP, let me do a quick backtest later when I'm finishing my work. Let's see if we can find a pattern over there.

As my previous experience, yes, stop will have a quite number of pips-profit compared to limit.

I don't really like the application model of MT4. They tend to dump logs without doing log size management.
My VPS only has 20GB, and space now is left only 3GB. At some point of time, one of the MT4 dumped quite big log file (in 1 file). It was having size like 1.5 GB. So, this is sh*t to me. I had to delete it, or maybe in future I have to create a batch file to delete it. But that's just the log file. When at the time the disk space runs out, it closed my running MT4.

In general, my 512MB RAM VPS is now running 5 instances of MT4, it didn't run anything else except MT4. I got 2 servers, one for demo, one for live account. Demo got 10 instances of MT4 running altogether.

Do you know how to stop this function?

As I've told you, we shouldn't trade on that day anyway. I didn't get a clear picture of when the tentative news coming. Chucrut told that the news actually scheduled on 01:00am SGT when he looked on http://www.forexpeacearmy.com/forex_news_calendar. I didn't know that.

Anyway, if that's happened, I always kept the account by my side. Means, even though I got no time, I still can peek through MT4 on my phone. If I need to close, then would go to remote to my server (through my phone) then close it all. That's what I always do.

if there is no records for closed order, i have to check history records....this is very annooying

I have gained 617 pips in this week!!! in live cent account. I used GTLIMITEURUSD3 setting.

I used many times STOP orders but failed to gain so not using it. Can you advise me what settings are you using for STOP orders.
