i finally know what happen guys....

today the local country office called me up did i receive any email from XM HQ...i said no coz i din check email.
they ask is it i am using EA? they said the EA trade >200 transactions per day is not allowed. It will cause their server overload and affect other people usage.

so i check my email yep there is an XM email saying my account suspended coz too much trades

that explains why no trade in my account so many days....i hav no choice but to remove Gridtrap EA and see if my other EA runs/my account reactivate.

so be careful of XM if u intend to use a real $$

Yep. As I always told before.
Most common problem is that we don't read their T&C (Terms and Conditions) of an account. There are more than 20 variables here, spreads, leverage, are 2 of them. Grid requires many orders to be created.

Some broker allows as many as transactions you can put but they'll restrict on the number of transaction at a time cannot more than 200.
Some broker strictly disallows 200 transactions per day.

My XM works because it never booked more than 200 transactions per day. It just do 1 - 2 cycles and usually not more than 50 transactions per day.
If you ask me to code/fix your EA... it's probably not for free...

I have made a small change on Stop mode.

I only use stop mode when the trend is quite clear, thus there is no meaning to trade in two ways.

One exception, NF FCOM IR etc... i will switch to two way trading.

If the trend is clear, there will be no "one candle reverse scenario", all fibo lvls will work. (but still need to avoid very high impact data!)

all the buy stop replaced with sell limit, sell stop visversa.

The result is amazing!!!

i was using 3 (order count each side) actually...
later when my trade got closed i switch to 30 orders when it failed to trade.
so not sure how they come out >200 transactions in my mt4.
but their HQ email did not state i had 200 transactions, just the local office said.
perhaps they notice the huge data transfer in my mt4 (which i earlier asked how is urs).
mayb amazon free vps cant cope.

oh well...glad is not my real $

I've checked, they only stated max 200 open orders at a time. Not 200 transactions per day.
So, I'm also confused.

Did you turn on your EA for quite long time? If you're using limit, it shouldn't be the case, as it only run 5 hours per day, and it closes 3 cycles only per day, which normally less than 50 transaction /day, or less than 200 open orders at a time.
So, not sure why they block yours, while mine they didn't.
If you ask me to code/fix your EA... it's probably not for free...

yea...i hav no idea how they calculate the 200

anyway they still block my account...no trade for other ea which opens 1 trade at a time (sigh~)

shutting my mt4...xm = bucketshop under my radar
hmm 1 likely reason is the EA went into repeating cycles as the broker cancelled my pending orders, the EA kept reopen the same grid pending orders

so it end up in cycle of open n close pending trades - as i can see from my daily confirmation, it does seem it have > 100 pending trades open & cancelled

just my theory anyway

That is right with XM ... the only problem with XM is that they do it manually !!!, I mean the check GT 200 and send mails. With Roboforex you get some trade error, other Brokers I did not check but could be similar.

For heavy load I am using Roboforex ECN because there is no trade limit.

I forgot to mention, in my experience with the 200 limits and XM ... the problem is that the count the open orders + pending stops and limits and at the end of the day they send a mail ... if you hedge or play with different pairs it happens very quick that you run to the limit, the only way is to manage the open/pending trades inside the EA. But with XM you have some hours time to react.
Before I am using a script to count my open orders and give me a warning. In my opinon, better a mail as an trade error.
I like and I am using cent and micro accounts just to test strategies in real environment because you can have a better sizing and play a 0.01 lot with an 10 euro contract compare with an 0.01 lot in ECN with 1000 euro contract (1 lot 1000 compare to 100000). If you move to the red ink, in the micros you loose some cents compare the dollars in the ECN or not mirco/cent accounts. For me, it depends always on my risk and what I do play. If I feel convinced in the micro, I move to the ECN and do the bigger play.

Your account is back enabled, kindly note that the limit is 10 000 messages ( 5000 trades ), that specific day your account was over 40 000

...they look at "messages"

Still remember the salesperson was very aggressive, they called (spammed) me everyday, encouraging (forcing) to start deposit the money. If you tell later, they surely will catch you on the next following week, again and again.

Just want to tell, AUD/JPY is a good ranging pair. Plus, both sides (AUD or JPY) is on almost the same timezone. So, surely out of that, it'll range at off trade times.

Sounds good, I'll try tonight to load on my VPS the GT LIMIT 2 on AUD_JPY (demo).

How about the spread on this spread? I use FXCM and Alpari but I don't see the VPS here in office
