I tried using the script, but no success. can u please help me for enabling docable charts? I am using metatrder 4 and my broker is Mtrading

I urgently need solution for undocking the charts

This tool is not working any more with the current version of MT4.

I tried this version ( it is a Script ) and it is working on build 890. Make sure you install the undock.dll file in your MetaTrader Libraries folder or it will not work.

Sorry how does this work , I can't find any MetaTrader folder named Libraries ...how do I make this work ? cheers

From within MetaTrader, click File>Open Data Folder
Now double click the MQL4 folder.
You should now see the Libraries folder.

Hi, have gone through these steps. Opened in the libraries folder of MQL4 etc but cannot open the unlock.dll file in it. When I click on it, it says it wont open this type of file (.dll) and asks me where to find a program to open it!?! Please help.

You don't need to open the undock.dll file.

Once you have installed via MQL folder, the script in the script folder and the dll file in the libraries folder, restart MT4.

Then when you have your charts open, just drag the script file from navigator onto any chart for it to work.
It never gets easier, you just get better

Thanks Mosiskv. That one works well on the current build.
FIW, I found that the broker FXDD offers the Undock script for free and that one is the best one as it is the same from floatingcharts ($77 USD). But that broker is out of the question...their spreads are absurd. Almost 4 times the average.

None of these undock files are working for me. I am using Oanda MT4 and they do nothing. Is there an updated version or better solution?

This script still works (tried it just now) on MT4 build 1090 Drag script onto each chart you wish to undock. Useful for multi screens.
Place in script in script folder & the dll file in Libraries folder.
You will need to open the RAR file as FF does not allow dll files to be inserted.
