Hi everyone. I just wanted to start this thread to discuss about the level of market influence of each tool used by players in the market.

This is important due to the self fullfilling effect, and I hope at the end of the discussion we could come up with a good list of tools with the level of influences. Then I hope the list could generate some trading ideas for some ppl!

I shall start will the ones that i know of, which many traders use. (We still have to put them into order of importances!)

The onces i know (not in order)

Fib retracments
Pivot points
Fractals
Round Numbers
Supports and Resistances from past data
MA's (But which is most widely used?)
The list goes on....

It is important, as a Trader, that you understand the influence Rates have on the Markets.

Q;Why would one country's Central Bank offer a Higher Interest Rate than others?
A; To attract Investment (Buys) from The Big Dogs.

And Guess what....
It's gonna be right here on FF.

Q; What would cause The Big Dogs to avoid such an offer?
A; Instability in the Offering Country. Yep. That's it. Risk vs Reward.

It would be interesting to have a poll on this to vote on the strongest to the weakest.
