I've been hanging around for a few weeks, reading a lot and studying a little more. My wife is looking to buy some shares through work for a company that trades on the NASDAQ. So, I thought, I know! I'll do some technical analysis!!
But, other than the lovely yahoo charts and some other poor free ones, I've yet to find anything I can really dig my teeth into and look at some good up close price action.
Of course, the free ones, you can add some standard indicators but I want to draw trend lines and maybe plot some fib retracements..
Can anyone point me in the direction of where/how I can get these? I'd like to trade the individual stock rather than the entire index. I'm looking for Liberty Global Class C shares.
Oh, and while you're here, can you explain why companies have different classes of shares?
