Problem with IBFX MT4 demo charts

Anyone having a problem with ibfx mt4 demo charts? My platform updated to build 192 yesterday, and now some of my charts look like the one below.

This is only on my demo account, if I open my live account everything is ok. Maybe their demo server still hasn't caught up with update.

Just wondering if anyone knew anything. Maybe I'm just doing somthing wrong?

Hi Jimmy,

I think the problem is with IBFX... Jotty has/had the same problem and changed data feed/demo account to SBFX... You can refer to this thread about it:

They dont have an answer or good reason for what happened, at least in my opinion.

They just keep telling me tomorrow (since Sunday), yet the charts still dont work.

Funny,

I'm using a laptop while I'm away from home, and after work today the live update happened again, but when I look at the "about" splash screen in mt4 it's still showing build 191. hmmm..

Maybe something with the update? Still don't know why the live account charts work fine though.

Maybe I'll get a chance in the morning to live chat with them.

Yeah this problem has been going on for two days now.
I have a live account it is fine.
Demo last they told me would be 24 to 48 hours, there is a problem with the Demo servers. Because of this I am not trading live right now. I sometimes run my demo on lower time frames as it leads up to the 4 hour reversal before I take a live plunge.

I am not happy about this. It is a little to long for the problem makes me wonder how safe the live account is. I work on computers and at my company I would be hanged and working for 24x7 hours a day and they would be bringing in re-inforcements to replace the dead worn out people like me until the problem gets fixed. Obviously idiots trading from these demo charts live are either crazy or losing live money.

The other vendors with MT4 seem to be doing fine.

End of Frustration.

Ok, here's the transcrip of my chat with ibfx a few minutes ago. They say the problem is with the historical data on the DEMO servers only, and there is no problem with the live servers. Also say the problem will be fixed by monday.

We'll see.

One thing I will say about ibfx is that they are always polite and try to answer your questions, and you usually don't have to wait long before someone comes online. I've haven't had to talk to them by phone yet though, only through the chat.

I didn't bother renewing my IBFX demo when it last expired, the main problem has always been the demo data feed. I don't know if they ever fix'df the prob w/ the spikes in Jan and Feb 06 that messed up the weekly and daily charts. Am using SBFX now - never expires adn the demo data feed hasn't had any probs.
In trading, there is no bullshit. You either make money or you don't.
