you are right to be cautious and I don't disregard the pattern repeat completely ,the last pattern you can see what eur was up against ,
I look through all eur charts to me sideways at least for mo
right now Ill stay bullish eu ,

That's not an indicator my friend, it's a map of North American continent with Native/First Nation territories and weed growing areas.

Okay, that xe.com site that has live exchange rates... how does that correlate to Forex prices? I thought they were linked, but where is that site getting their numbers from if all the markets are now closed? I'm asking because there's a huge difference between the close (somewhere around 1.0960) and the quote now on that site (as of right now, 1.0894).

forex market actually never closes. its an OTC market so brokers somewhere may still be operating on holidays where there is demand there is supply...
liquidity on holidays are a matter though....
you need to understand. when NFP came out disappointing... it was only US online to push the EURUSD up... but there are plenty markets out there who wants to sell that move up...

as i said countless times. if EURUSD actually fails to break above 1.1 on such a bad NFP data then this is surely not a good sign for bulls.
moreover march NFP came out bad due to adverse weather in the US. so its not surprising data was bad on jobs added...
but a lot of people are unaware of something.....

FED is now looking at Wage Growth (inflation) and also Unemployment Rate. as primary indicators for rate hike.
yes the NFP data was bad. theres less jobs added in March. but unemployment rate did not tick up because of that..... which would suggests a good NFP number for the month of april releases in May. if that numbers comes out better, the likelyhood of unemployment rate to drop is very likely... which adds to the fuel of FED having to hike rates...

This NFP does not delay the fed's forcast of June-September, with higher likelyhood of September.

ANother thing... There is Wage Growth... Fed has been stressing the importance of that to spur inflation.... so thats a good sign.

either way. do not be bullish just yet. if 1.1 holds this remains bearish. with parity in sight.

Thanks a lot. And you went way beyond just answering my dumb question... and I really appreciate it. Because actually, that was my main reason for asking. I mean, that the numbers on that exchange rate site seem to be telling a story that might not be in line with what a lot of people were saying here late today. Of course there's a lot of time between now and Sunday afternoon, so who knows what things will look like by then, but when I heard a couple people suggesting there might be a big gap UP come the open, I was thinking to myself just the opposite. In other words, no, you don't have to worry about me being bullish right now... in fact I agree with you that it's looking more bearish than anything else.
