My broker has EUR/USD currency as #EURUSD and I would like to change it in indicator, from EURUSD to #EURUSD, but after "Replace all" it reads it as part of the indicator code, not as EURUSD chart symbol. It says: "-empty token

How can I fix this error and indicator would read # as part of the chart symbol?

you have your answer in the title of the post

"#EURUSD" use the quotation marks to make it a string. The compiler is reading the # as a compiler directive with out the quotation marks. Hens the empty token.

Shouldn't the indicator be written to use the preset variable for current symbol?

Dropping it on a new symbol shouldn't require a rewrite of code.

Or is this comparing the current symbol to EUR/USD (like a correlation indicator or something)?

Thank you, it solved the issue. Was easier than I thought.

Its not correlation, it just balancing time and price, time and price ratio is already in the code, every currency has different.
