Pretty sure from 1.39.... Here's a guy that shows all the right qualities of an excellent trader, and I rarely see anyone asking him for advice. Well he is probably a noob himself since he needs "smart" people insight as he probably has difficulty thinking for himself when placing trades. You know what I mean.

I personally never listen to anyone on here and dont care if you sound "smart". I make and go by my own analysis, that is why I am profitable

This one just might be the best one to watch right now. Weak us data, and a rate cut just about fully priced in. If they shoot all of their bullets on mon, a rate cut in the future would be unlikely. So a retest of the lows .7533 and then a weekly close up above could be a nice r/r trade set up. If they do not cut, aud will pop and then come back down later in the month as may rate cut chance would loom (so long the us dollar doesn't fall apart). The latter seems more likely as RBA wants a lower currency and the idea of a rate cut encourages market to keep the currency lower longer than the actual cut.

On a side note, has anyone noticed how eur/$ spec shorts have been hitting record levels lately. Whats more interesting (to me anyway) is that while this is happening price is moving up....I've seen this only a few times before...

Exactly, I've never met anyone yet that could hold that long. Psychologically, I find it tough to see the fluctuations in my P/L. For example, I had short positions at 1.1 level last week. But closed them and changed side as bullish sign appears. It suits me better that way playing with the trend rather than holding like forever. At the end of the day, I just want to make more and more money, that's always been the bottom line. Those who think it's not about money, can just stick with their demo account!

The EUR/USD may have more room on the upside to run to than it has on the downside, but the overall trading bias indicates that the pair is more likely to hit evens, than it is likely to break the 1.1000 mark. Today's events confirmed that.
