If I can insert my opinion.
Eelfranz brought into forex factory a very simple system that he
got from Dean Malone @ Compass Fx. After years of trading the
system by hundreds of traders, some holes were discovered.
Dean Malone went back to the drawing board & tweaked the original
system. Dean Malone added the guppy's, pac, dot's & 200 ema.
Neither Emmanuel or I added these into the system.
You must realize that this system originally came from Dean Malone.
My interest in this is to help traders as best I can. I personally
think that the inside bar indicator that Emmanuel uses is a very
good indicator. I also think Lastingwell's tdi mtf indicator is very
good. Dean Malone rewrote the original tdi & pac. He realized
their were problems with the old original indicators.
I think the bottom line of Dean Malone was to make the system
better with updated indicators. I have no problem with that...

Dean Malones system. If Dean Malone wants to help us &
make the system better, my opinion is great. I'm sure that
Dean Malone knows all about this thread at forex factory.
What I find interesting is: This Dean Malone system & indicators
magically appear in the paperclip. Brought in by a 1 time poster
that no one knows or has heard from since. It's like Dean
Malone sending these indicators to us. That is what I find

Too many losses today. What am I missing? Was I too blinded with TDI signals? Stop too tight? I took the entries on TDI cross confirmed with the higher TF TDI going in the same direction, like lastingwell usually does. Trades taken on 30M / 1H {image} {image} {image} {image} Thank you very much in advance.
I don't have many indicators on my chart, not because I'm a great trader, but because too much stuff on there confuses the **** out of me, I have tried lots of different indicators and have discarded them because if it means I sit there and have to think about it too much its not good for me
I have forward tested extensively and the only indicators I can truly say has kept me out of more silly trades and lots of drawdown has been the tdi-mtf and s/r those are all thats needed to more often than not, get good trades and keep me out of bad ones. I've read on here many times that the green above red, above the yellow means the next timeframe has crossed up, and yes it does, but what it won't show you is if that next timeframe is starting to turn down, and on the lower timeframes that can mean a lot of pips.

RJ (realjumper) and his friend FOM met in the genesis thread which RJ ran like his own personal kingdom. He crushed any opposition and any suggestion that his system needed help. Finally he closed the thread with no thought about the group of traders who met there. They are now spreading their own particular venom and idealogy here. Their first commandment is "Thou shalt not adapt the system as laid down." The implication is that it is already prefect. Well I'm sorry but everything can be improved. RJ and FOM, you're both good traders. Why not get...
An now for the facts, as opposed to the fiction.
FOM and I met in the Symphonie thread of Evaluator, not in the Genesis thread.
I did not run it as "my own personal kindom"....on Post #1, Page #1 I stated "NO OTHER INDICATORS WILL BE PERMITTED without prior consent from one of the Genesis team members. To date, the only exception has been for some moving averages to be used in the way explained here by Martyfish"....if people had taken the time to read and understand the few simple rules to the thread, then the thread would still be going now. But, as in this thread, and most threads I suppose, people don't read the first post(s), they skip to the last post, and by doing that, they fall foul of the few rules that are in place for the protection of the system so that all people who come to the thread will all be on the 'same page' as far as indicators and templates etc etc are concerned. Failure to do that renders the thread a bit of a dogs dinner and the losers will be the new comers to the thread....which is a point I made several times to explain why I wanted outside indicators and variations to the system kept out of the thread. Some people, Rooi for one, started his own thread with his own slant on trading the Genesis system, and I applaud that, and I said so at the time.
If the system is constantly changed by every man and his dog adding their own indicators, the system will disintegrate and everyone loses, mostly the newcomers, which, as I said, is a point I made several times.
I simply wished, just as Eric did, that people do not modify the system *in that thread*, but start their own. In the interests of newcomers who are struggling in this very difficult business, I think that's a fair enough request.
There is no "ideology or venom" spreading here.....just underlining Eric's wish that *HIS* thread be kept clean and pure. It matters not what Dean Malone said or did or created...it only matters that Eric started this thread and asked that it be kept pure. Again, I think that's a fair enough request. There are other TMS threads started by other people with their own slant on TMS trading, and I applaud them too.
You're wrong....the implication was not that "the system is already perfect".....you're quite wrong there. The system was tested for months by the Genesis team, which consisted of 4 people, so there was a huge number of man hours gone into the testing of the system. Each member of the team was an experienced and profitable trader in their own right. However, if *anyone* wished to introduce and indicator or other suggested, in that same extract from Post #1 that I pasted above, you can see that I asked that no other outside indicator be introduce *without the prior consent of *one* of the Genesis team." As a matter of fact, several people did come with various suggestions, which were then tested by the team for months to see if they were suitable. The vote was always taken and the majority ruled.
Finally, I posted live trades on that thread because I was 'taken to task' over never posting live trades. With some thought, I realised the benefit to the people if live trades were entered, not each and every time, but just sometimes. To see a trade entered live and then to see it managed until the TP or until the trade is exited at a loss, is a very valuable learning tool for the whole thread. Bear in mind that the Genesis system is a M5 trading system, but it's still possible to do live trades as I and others showed. So it's certainly possible, and equally beneficial to do it here
So Bushman, if you want to have a go at me, be very sure of your facts first, because there is no intention to disrupt anything here as there are some good traders here, I'm just concerned that the thread starter, Eric, asked that the thread be kept pure (or people start their own thread), and that wish has been trampled on, and I feel that someone has to speak for Eric as he (obviously) can not.

For all newbies to this thread, THV CaveManager is an expert advisor trade manager which many traders here use to manage their trades.
Eric when he was alive did not use this trade manager but to make our life easier, we can use Cavemanager to manage our trades according to our own exit strategy.
Here below is an example trade on EURAUD H1 manage by CaveManager running live now. I simply set and forget as i do not have time to check my computer all the time.

Indeed compared NZD to USD there is still big difference in term of currency fundamentals. USD is staling due to soft data, information is there and the wind keep blowing from NZD back, it keep rally up.
I've missed this move, my mind was on GBP crosses.
But I spot a divergence in attitude between EUR and AUD. I notice lot of you are treading EUR/AUD as I see EUR is getting a little strength, so I'll might start to look on TDI and APB for future buy opportunities. Nice trading to all.
