Yes, is kinda sorry question. US stocks up, Oil up = USD down. Silly crowd thinks BoE will hike rates = GBP buy. So yes, am long, but a) Market isnt working that simple and can do anything anytime b) cmon man...

Well, they will hike.... one day... but think not as long as Carney is on the wheel. But I definitely dont have enough informations to decide when the hike is coming.

Is difference of long and mid term view. Am long term bullish USD, bearish Yen and Euro. But given current ECB cut and situation within Eurozone, I consider GBP as a short term safe haven,... and since Stocks and Oil mid term against me, I have switched my USD long term exposure to mid term GBP up move. Rumours just helped me.

It wouldn't surprise me if any major reversal in this downtrend comes due to the FED (and I quote), "not quite being ready to raise rates due to workforce structural issues - despite the good numbers".
Both Ben and Yellen have already wet our appetites for this potential with their comments on this deeper problem the numbers don't reveal.

Yes, thats the other issue. Its all play with expectations. Now I was speaking long term, meaning like a year. Speaking very long term, say 5-7 years, I expect we are gonna get QE cubed.
