OK, I'm not going to get into the HDA argument but just for FUN on FRIDAY, I'll just throw out a hypothetical situation :-)
He always says he's a "position trader". Notice, he never mentions a SL so let's just say he doesn't use any because he's a POSITION trader with less emphasis on "trader" and continues to scale in "forever". He knows if he would mention no SL & continue to scale-in he'd be laughed off the planet with "adding to losing trades is for losers". Look at the weekly chart & notice from the low-to-high of the move from june 2013 to july 2014 took just 13 months. For a position trader, that's a short period of time if he should need to be in that long. As long as he's calculated his position size to allow enough @ each new entry, why couldn't he continue to add? I just drew lines at his first 2 entries & if evenly spaced showed his first 7 entries. He would be @ break-even @ 1.6240. What's wrong with doing it this way if you're not in a hurry & have enough funds to keep adding? I can think of someone else in this thread that kept adding on the short side & he's looking much better now so why can't HDA add to his buys?
Sorry for the "space-waster", just messing around. I've seen plenty other wasted space in this thread so wanted to join the party.
***BTW, I'm in no way trying to silence the criticism or suggesting you agree with him or follow him. I just try to pick up a little knowledge from him or anyone that has something to offer. I don't follow anyone with trade calls.
