Nice numbers for the German Factory Orders
Ignored
German Factory Orders had nice numbers, but it looks that market doesn't care about them so much.
Just small spike above 1,3150 and its back to EUR/USD 1,3145

Yestarday fundamentals were mostly red for EU and it went up.
So at this moment there is another factors beside fundamentals that are moving markets

Bit of a BS drop considering good numbers. EU is the worst manipulated currency of all imo.

ps. I am not or wasn't in a position so my bit-of-a-rant isn't to do with losing... just watching as it is breaking rising wedge on good numbers.

I've been lurking around this thread for some time now, and I couldn't but notice the amount of posts mentioning that retail sentiment is bullish, thus it is favorable for the euro to go lower.

I don't understand where those people get their logic from! What i see is small speculators (retailers) at all time short extremes, never in the history of the euro has the retailers been so bearish. I'm not inventing this stuff up, the information is all there for free for everyone to view on the COT report.

It would be great if any of the guys here posting about retailers' sentiment could explain to me how they conclude their analysis

USDCAD Daily picture remains the same despite the sell off. You may want to watch the possibility of Bfly Buy 4 hours chart, where the left wing is already formed, price needs to come down to .618 or .786 Ret 4 Hours chart and that should be the limit. AUDUSD I am short, however daily candle too big and created new swing, so I need to see another selling signal on Daily. GBPUSD Price still sitting at MS1 + WS3 + bullish pattern (Cypher daily) PA doesn't confirm this yet. EURUSD Same update. Today there will be ECB Interest decision and press conf....

EURUSD rose slightly during the Wednesday session, but found sellers above again on the 10 day moving average. All eyes will be on the interest rate statement coming out of the ECB today, looking for clues of further QE out of Brussels. The 1.32 level should continue as a key resistance and 1.31 should be a key support to pay attention today.

looks more intraday bullish,, still some R 57/58 ish and 80/86... last weeks break suggested a 3186/3220 bounce, before 3084.. few since 3992 have made that bounce. not getting to 3185 is not bullish for a reversal.

LOL... well all those posts didn't last long... eh?

So not that it matters but, I'll repost.

On the EU front. Purely TA from my side (I'm no fundie guy ) It finally reached the level I was expecting to see some retrace to about 1.32936 from. Technically I think it should but it seems obvious (and no surprise this time of year) it will all be about the numbers coming.

I'm not an indie guy either. The RSI is there for observational purposes only but interestingly enough, it seems to indicate a good spot for a bounce as well?

Since you looks ignored, I'll try to answer:
1. How? Well it's an art hahhaha... Too long to explain.
2. COT released on intevals, and shows current open position not where and when it was opned. Small numbet might ride along the decend but mostly not. They usually trade on daily basis, and retailers are washed out daily. So IMHO COT is less reliable to track retail sentiment. There is one which might be more accurate but with more noise. You could find it here on home page. Choose lot size, reflect retail sentiment better than number f trades. COT is more reliable to track longer horizon trade like commercial position.

ps: I am building short on UJ, to replace my position which I close yesteraday. I the lower limit was here up to 105.08, I wasn't awake earlier the highest position I currently have is @104.95 opened when I was awake 1-2 min in between my nap.
