tired of market gurus calling a top in GU every time it pushed for new highs and then pulls back some.
Yous guys rank poorly on both fundie/tech side.
We will not have a change in trend until 25th May 2014 at least - and then the deal can also boost GU to new highs.

Couple of points after granny testified yesterday
- It was a cold moment when traders realised she was able to and did maintain price stability and stuck to her guns (there was very little volatility as she testified and she kept the needle as good as flat during Q & A)
she's a real central banker and she does what she says she will - It is clear that even though she doesn't say it granny has an intentional PUT trade on the DX and any apparent $ strength would be trading against the FED -> never trade against a central bank
- For the purposes of this thread, the UK economy is recovering at a speed greater than the US economy. Although the UK pundits will no doubt want to tackle me on the issue the fact of the matter is in a slow race between two lame nags the UK nag is quicker (Deal with it, is what it is)
- The cold hard fact is that inflation in the US is still not present in any way comfortable enough for market participants and policy makers to need to change policy (i.e. raise interest rates for an extended period) The same is not true of the UK, inflationary pressures whilst not pressing are present
- Its my version that Carney has to blink first... UK rates will go up first
What does it mean?
Simple the present strength of the GBP is twofold unprecedented intentional weakening of the $DX and the simple fact that Carney will have to change policy first as inflation linked pressure will appear in the UK first.... (regardless of EU pressures)
Technically
Channel down buy its nature is bullish behaviour -> when the channel breaks -> its to the upside!
Events
Note that the MPC statement will drive volatility but no surprises are anticipated, maybe a journalist will get some sort of comment out of Mark but policy isn't set to change in the immediate short term...
