More experience you have less indicators on your charts.
Having rainbow of MA's and CCI's is not going to solve incompetence.People are under illusion that indicators can make you a winner.At best you can collect 10-20% out of move.This is because by the time all your Christmas lights points down or up party is most likely over.
Get over it folks or prepare to lose more money.
Ask a logical question if this system or 500 others here made real profits why are people stopped posting and using it.
You want a real trader?look here.

So.... no new posts in a systems thread= nobody is trading and nobody is profitable?? Forex Factory logic ladies and gentlemen!!

Too many peoples lives are all about this forum instead of trading, they care about vouches and their pathetic online "reputation".

I believe different folks trade their own ways. I've experienced winners and losers with this set up. Of the 3 set ups, I find 1 to be more reliable capitalizing on a small retracement. I lost a trade this am. Before that, I had 5 winners in a row. Get over your fears folks. Build a bridge and get over it. Too many folks concerned about the destination instead of the 'journey'. thx and happy trading

Slingshot- The CCI 50 is above its zero line.
The CCI 14 dips below -75 , moves upward and crosses zero and the candle closes above 34 moving average. This works for scalping on the 1 minute candles. You cant make this into an ea but you can trade it and make money. These are my stats for the last 2 months. I dont think this system can be disregarded so quickly by the people that have been on this thread. Just because the creator quit posting. 2 months of live testing doesnt make a system Im just saying that its needs to be tested still.

Just find a trend on the one hour chart or after news and then follow the directions above on the 1 minute chart and great scalping entry tool. Im still playing with when to exit.

Greetings Grey Whale,
I've heard of the slingshot, I didn't know the specifics on how to trade it. I believe I'm doing something similar. I'm doing most of the U.S. MAJORS, 15 minute charts on up, 3% R, 1.5:1, duration generally less than 2 hrs. My 14 simply must close OVER the zero, but preferrably the 100. I tryed this on the 4H chart nearly a year ago and bombed it because I didn't have the right tools. I've recently added the system to my arsenal and enjoyed a 7% profit last week, and that was trading 1% of my account. It's pleasant knowing I'm not the only trader enjoying decent trades.

I am also glad to hear of someone else making this system work. I bought a simulator from 4xexclusive 2 months ago, not accurate as real time trading. I can trade a very large time frame in a small amount of time. Im going to try trading this system using 15, 30, 1hr, and 4h candles over a 2 year period and see what I learn. I will post what I learn from the backtest simulator here. bought a treadmill with a desk attached to it so I can walk while I trade. Maybe I can lose 20 lbs and have a fully functional profitable system by Valentines day 2014. Happy new year everyone.

Hello, interesting thread, but missing one important part Dr Bob and Woodie is using Range bars, which makes a big difference to what you are doing!

Dr. Bob was not using range bars when he was using this system. Neither was Woodie. Woodie only started using range bars the last couple of years.

People can say what they want to about this system. But I have been using this system for 5 positive months in a row. 3 of them documented on collective2 system named cc slingshot. I am not using range bars though. Im definitely going to look into that though. If it is explained on this thread than I missed it. If its not on this thread can someone please send me the link to woodies explanation.

Can you please share couple of trades and explain what are you doing.
I didn't have any results with CCI50, non of 3 setups worked for me.
May you can help me to understand what I am doing wrong !

And now about Range Bars chart. You can use it for this system or any other system. I am trading chart patterns with Range Bars!
Any way, I am started with woodies not a long time ago, as I have 1-3 patterns a day, most of day I am bored. And I was looking for the system which would work with Range bars.
I am taking only trend following set ups TT and ZLR set ups. Which is 2 and 3 setups from this thread, Zero line break doesn't work

I know that this thread is based on CCI 50, which doesn't work for me, I am using CCI 14 and 6 or CCI 34 and 14.

Here is 3 chart examples : 1 Range bars CCI 14 and 6; 2 Range bars CCI 34 and 14; ( as you can see 1 and 2 pretty much the same outcome); 3 Regular M5 chart
See the difference!

P.s. fist chart +25 pips
