Bonjour à tous

Firstly, I am French so be indulgent with my basic English please.

I would like to share with you an efficient system based on the RSI and CCI indicators.
CCI is used by all of us as trend indicator and RSI as oscillator.
I got more than 400 pips in two days with it.
I used this system in TF 5mn with eur/usd, usd/chf, eur/yen and gbp/usd

RSI 8
CCI 14

Buy entry when candle closed and RSI is above 50 and CCI above 0

Sell entry when candle closed and RSI is below 50 and CCI below 0

Exit on RSI reverse signal, trailing stop or TP.

This system is not perfect so take care.

Just a tip, if you put on 55 and 45 lines on the RSI, you have a pretty good enter signal for your trade.

Hi DirkH143,

And between 45 and 55, no entry ?

I opened a trade on GBP/USD 4:25 PM (Paris) 1.4091
Stoploss reported to breakeven and trailing stop running

Correct, Between 55 and 45 no trade. When it falls below 45 go short and above 55 go long. I hope it helps.

Any other questions, let me know.

Firstly thanks for the system Thierry. Very simple and can be effective if well managed. I traded it only taking trades in the direction of the trend (determined by 200 EMA) and seemed to work well thus far.

i am very interesting in this simple, but effective method. I have made a simple template for this as attached. And i think two points are needed.

1). Must let the profit runs as much as it can.
2). Must have strong Stop Loss when fake signal appears.

Let's talk about this way.

Hi, Thierry89, can you show me the trades you have done recently?
I focus on how many trades win & how many lose.what's the proportion?

Pls say something about this.

This is my 3 last trade on GBP/USD

Buy and exit on trailing stop
Sell and exit on reverse signal (green)
Buy and exit on sell signal and end of day for me

The proportion is not high (55/60) but the losses size are not important in TF 5mn.

I research another filter in order to improve this system as EMA or trend channel for example.

I added an ADX candle and I will try with this additionnal indicator as from tomorrow but it seems good.

Change default Period/signal_Level 14/21 to 14/1

Green = uptrend
Red = Downtrend

Thierry89,

Nice simple system.
Can you post the coloured RSI indicator you have on your chart.

Many thanks.
